"Must have if you are in the Hempstead area. Busy corner location with few spots of single seating inside. This is the only place I will order pernil! I ordered the baked chicken lunch with rice, beans, plantains and vegetables on this particular day. I was happy to see they had Manzana which I brought home for my son. Food is always fresh, delicious, reasonably priced, big portions and service is quick. A line forms during lunch hours so go early! Service: Take out Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes: Baked Chicken with Yellow Rice and Beans and Salad, Sweet Plantains, Pernil Rice and Beans with Sweet Plantains, Pulled Pork"

"Went in the morning for breakfast, order a few empanadas which were tasty but a little stale from being out in the glass box too long, ordered a meal which advertised the ingredients and had a picture, when it arrived it was missing an ingredient no cheese, which i had to asknthe waiter to correct. Was going to give a 1 star but then the Fresh Juices came out, I order orange juice and she ordered passion fruit which I can say turned my mood around. Large spectacle glasses, fresh fruit, blended with no seeds or peel. Really brought me back to the juices I enjoyed with my grandma. Correct everything else and I would give a 5 Star for a central american authentic restaurant."
