"In the 5 years I have tried many Juguerias (Juice Bars) that I live in Huaraz and Disfrútalo is definitely the best. Juices are simply delicious, it is clear that they only use high quality fruits. The variety is fantastic, just about any fruit you can think of, simple, mixed or with milk. There is also a wide selection of delicious sandwiches. Service is fast and friendly. Prices are more a local joint than a touristic place, prices are very cheap. It is always packed in the morning, unlike other Juguerias in the same street, so it is quite clear that everyone is the favorite. Do not miss this place if you want a delicious, cheap breakfast, come here instead of the overpriced tourist cafes in the city, you will not be disappointed!"

"Very nice little restaurant that a Belgian chef ( Kristof )and his wife ( Pilar ) opened in January 2008. Specialty of the house are smoked trout, fresh pastas, Maceration of fruit in Pisco ( Famous Peruvian alcohol ), Wholewheat bread, and a lot more. From time to time the chef prepares something new so every time you visit there is a surprise. Ask the chef just something to eat indicating only your kind of food you like or more the flavors you like and be surprised. The interior is very nice a lot of wood very rustic and the charming part of it is that it is very little only 3 tables and about 6 barstools. In the evening it converts a little bit in to a pub you can ask almost any kind of music ( an amazing collection of music ). TO VISIT WHEN YOUR IN HUARAZOh not to forget: People who have traveled know the stomach problems you can have, well they have some simple herbs to prepare infusions that will help you pretty fast and safe."

They serve traditional Italian Expressos and cappuccinos, as well as a wide selection of desserts and mini pizzas. The place is impeccable and the owners are very friendly and chatting. "Finding a good vegetarian restaurant for travellers is not easy as veggie lovers know. So it was twice a pleasure to stumble over Salvia Vegetarian Restaurant on a small side street right at Plaza de Arms in Huaraz, Peru. Run for a small family, a friendly and efficient young lady ordered and served. An older couple seemed to cook the goodies in the kitchen. I ate here several days for their amazing price fixed lunch 7 soles about $2.35 US . The daily lunch special menu in Peruvian included an appetizer, salad, crispy red dried maismunchies a Peruvian speciality, a main course, a drink of juice or herbal tea and a desert usually fresh local fruits. The food was fresh and plentiful. The menu varied every day. The soups were delicious and filled particularly well for the cool climate in Huaraz. Service was pleasant and efficient, although the restaurant was packed for lunch. Every day every table was filled with local singles, friends and families. I felt welcome as a tourist. The hostess waitress did not say English. My minimal Spanish was sufficient to say Menu, por favor The daily special, please. I enjoyed discreetly watching the Peruvian families with children. Some came to celebrate like the young girls on white costumes. Other families had babies and toddlers who had fun watching and enjoying their big bright smiles and laughs. Some cartridges seemed to work in the nearby government and business offices. Salvia The restaurant is located right next to the Plaza de Arms and the block of the great old cathedral ruins quite obviously from the Plaza de Arms I think it is earthquake damaged not safe but completely obvious. The address translates the passage near the judiciary building, as the judiciary building is located opposite the Plaza de Arms. Salvia is a local restaurant instead of a tourist restaurant. So every day a young boy came to the sale of fresh products. I have watermelon and various fruits to return to our hostel kitchen for the local prices: The daily lunch specialities were one of my highlights from my trip to Peru. I made the food to my brunch and main meal of the day. Salvia is also open for breakfast and dinner ala carte. Their menu also had different coffees and ice cream, yogurt fruit parfaits, etc. at local prices. Closed on Sundays."

"We ate here yesterday evening having read good trip advisor reviews. Did not disappoint. I had the fillet of chicken. So juicy. Swapped out fries for rice without a problem. Nice simple, generous avocado salad to start. Boyfriend had a good soup and beef stroganoff. Maracuyu fresh jug of juice only 3.5 sol. Recommend!"
