"On our last trip to Maui our friends brought us here to buy fresh local fruits such as papaya, coconut and avocados. At a swap meeting?! It is a good marketplace with around 10 suppliers selling fresh products, and so many other suppliers sell other products of plants and jewelry, works of art and Hawaiian shirts. We have lunch from the Korean food provider and ate it on the grass outside in another area of the terrain. The only excitement for me was that most of the food vendors sold meat stuff (four of Filipino food). By the way, it cost us 50 cents per person."

"This is the worst ihop I have ever been to, including the mainland. The hours are extremely unreliable with conflicting information online and no one answering the phone to confirm. The last few times we have shown up, the staff always claim they are “finished seating” with an hour left to close. 15 minutes before close I get it, but an hour? Come on. This has happened at various arrival times that I can’t even pin point at this juncture. Can’t comment on the food because I’ve literally never been seated to try it."

"I didn't know Kahului IHOP was renovated; it has a modern feel and a great look! Everything else remains the same, still the friendly faces, fast service, fluffy eggs, and hot coffee, everything you would expect on Maui. It can get pretty noisy near the kitchen, but the staff looks like they're having fun and confident in their abilities. Longer waiting times on the weekend but well worth the wait."

"The service was fantastic! Good atmosphere, but the food was just okay!? I hope they see this and change it a bit, add a little salt to your chips after you roast them and find some decent spices for your Patlan dishes, the fluffy outer shell of the Patano was also kind of weird. Make better"

Don’t forget to purchase some Starbucks gift cards with Hawaiian designs to take back with you for souvenirs of Hawaii that last! In past years they had a hula girl image. This year it’s the state of Hawaii with a bird and a rainbow !"

"Please can someone start this chain back in Switzerland ? Although I do prefer little local shops that are not too commercial, this big chain has everything I am looking for. Not cosy, not perse local and cheap, but for the lazy dog in me: great. And I have to say that the foodbar is tasteful. Fresh delicious and more choice than with most other supermarket chains."

"I've driven by this place so many times but never gave it much notice until my girlfriend said she wanted to stop by and grab some food. I tend to think of natural food stores as somewhat run down places. I was completely wrong this store was immaculately clean from top to bottom. Even the bathrooms are cleaner than most store restrooms. The store is wide open and not cramped which I like. There is also a second floor area for dining which is nice and quiet with plenty of windows to let in natural light and look at the mountains and skyline. The store clerks were very welcoming and answered our questions. I've been to many natural stores where the clerks were very rude and in some cases downright mean. I highly recommend stopping in to this store if you need a healthy bite to eat or some groceries. I'm not likely to shop here often but seeing how well they keep this location going, I would definitely be more open to stopping by on my way home from work and giving it some more tries to see if they have a lot of things I would be interested in. The store was well stocked and everything was easy to see!"
