"The Eiscafé toscanini is located directly on the Kiel inner town in the Germaniahafen. In the Germanishafen are small motor boats and older smaller sailboats, which are very good to see and admire from the ice cream café. In the Eiscafé toscanini there are seats inside, outside the ice cream café, seating groups are decorated in beautiful weather. In summer it is always a real highlight if you can sit here, have the fresh sea air of the Kieler Förde in the nose and enjoy their ice cream, cake or coffee. A few days ago we were here in the early afternoon, the weather was quite modest, we were looking for a place in the window. We were lucky because it wasn't much going on because of the weather this afternoon. The small ice card is placed on each table in a card holder so that the guest can make his choice in peace. From the hot apple strudel, cakes and cakes there is of course a rich selection of different ice cups. For children, for example, there is the Pinocchio cup with ice and smarties or the Mickey mouse cup. Fruit cups are also offered in various variants. You can even have breakfast in the morning. After we had waited for a while, we also ordered the hot apple strudel and a latte Macchiatto. Shortly later, the operation came back to our table to tell us that currently no raspberries are available. So we ordered the strawberry pot as an alternative. The drinks were brought to the table very quickly. Also on the ice cup and the apple strudel we did not have to wait long. It was really delicious in taste, even from the strawberry cup I could taste delicious. I could watch the ice cups and the cake counter. The operation led most of the time every private phone call. But that didn't bother me until the service at the guest did not suffer. Finally, the one service was closed and was replaced by the other colleague, where we then paid. After payment, I took up the toilets again. These are unfortunately quite narrow here, but everything is clean and tidy. All in one it was a nice afternoon, our coffee deck was delicious, here we will come back. Finally, one should say that the ice cream café has a really good location. Right next door is the Norwaykai with the great Color Line ferries from and to Oslo. In addition, you can also take the cake and the ice cream or be packed."

"The Hemingway in Kiel is located directly on the Old Market opposite the Nikolai Church. This location has been here for many years and is very popular with many guests of all ages. We must have been here once. It is located in a two-storey building. Below is a large bar where you can sit. The guest rooms are very bright and light-filled through their large windows, which makes this restaurant somehow welcoming and cozy. There are many pictures hanging on the walls, including the Hemingway, but also a lot of beverage mirrors can be found on the walls. In the summer you can sit here wonderfully outside on a terrace and watch the colorful driving on the Old Market. Since the Hemingway is also a cocktail bar, you also get good and tasty cocktails with or without alcohol, which you can enjoy outside on the terrace. A few days ago I came back here. I was greeted nicely by very attentive young farms and I took place on the upper floor of the restaurant. It was lunchtime and at that time it was already well visited. I got another table on the window. It didn't take long when I was asked if I already knew what I wanted to order. Since the menus are already on the tables, you can look in here automatically. Since I was here more often, I already knew what I wanted to order. I took the kiln potatoes with North Sea crabs, sour cream and salad and an aster water. In the week there is also a changing lunch table from 12:00 to 15:00. The lunch table card is also on every table for viewing. For 5, euros, you can get a good lunch meal here, such as pasta, fish or creamy dishes. For 5,80 euros, you get a fruit cocktail. Breakfast is also offered here. It didn't take long until the cute operation brought my aster water and my oven potato to the table. I didn't sound bad. That time I was here and the oven potato had ordered the plate was decorated differently. This time the sou cream with the North Sea crabs was over the oven potato, but also the salad was nicely colorful and decorated over it, so that the crabs had to be looked for something. That was really something for the eye. Tastefully it was again top and a real pleasure for my taste nerves. The Alsterwasser also had a good temperature for drinking. After lunch I picked up the toillettes again. These are located for women on the upper floor and for men a few steps deeper on an intermediate level. After that I left happy and satisfied the Hemingway . This location is definitely one of my favorites in Kiel."

"Very delicious cold appetizer for two that we shared with 5 people and everyone could still try something because it was quite big! Worth a recommendation! Warm dishes we were all delicious and fresh as well as good sauces, bread and meat!...Bulgur and potatoes both were good. Cosy and comfortable sofas and very chilled atmosphere.
