"Very disappointed with this restaurant. Service was friendly even if we did have four different waitresses over two courses. Beef was tough and veal no better. Pizza not cooked enough so base soggy, moules average. Food arrived very quickly so perhaps little care taken to it's preparation? We thought that there was no such thing as poor restaurant food in France but we're certainly proved wrong here."

"There are amazing fresh oyster and prawn restaurants by the port, and very good haute cuisine restaurants just outside of town. This venue was slightly lack lustre. I couldn't find any thing on the menu that excited me so ordered a cheese burger. Honestly it...was great. Very juicy very tasty came with slightly limp but good skin on fries. The setting offers inside and outside dining, a cool bar. I had a good but overpriced glass of house wine. All in all OK but overpriced."

"We stopped in for lunch after visiting the Dune and everything about the experience was terrific. The restaurant is inside a campground, so you need to get access from the reception desk so you can enter the grounds and park. The restaurant itself is situated...with a big outdoor deck overlooking the ocean with a view of Banc d'Arguin. Our North American eating timetable served us well; when we arrived at 12:30 there was plenty of seating but when we departed the place was almost full. Service was good; the staff were friendly and helpful. The food itself was exceptional. My wife had a tasty pasta with sun-dried tomatoes and ham, and I had the plate of the day: lamb chops. The meat was a bit tough (as is most meat in France, I find) but the flavour was outstanding. As an added bonus, midway through our meal the parasailers started gliding by, providing entertainment as we ate."
