"I highly recommend buying these products. they sell filled chocolate for each s./2.00, so it is easier to try as much as possible. if they love chocolate, they will not be dissapointed, they can try regular aromas like white chocolate, strawberry and cinnamon, but they can also try new ones like pisco sour, maracumango (mango and passion obst) and aguaymano (golden fruits.) the load itself is located in the center of tarapoto and is beautifully decorated."

"Typical neighborhood Peruvian restaurant. I have watched this place since it opened, and the price was 5 soles, until today when it is 7 soles for the daily menu. Ceviche of Shark is 8 soles. Open only for lunch, when they have a daily Menu of 5 or so items. TV was not on this time, but loud Peruvian music competes with the noise of traffic outside the open door. Owner seems a bit surly, but service otherwise was ok. I actually came in because they had Tumbo juice drink. Tumbo is like a giant passionfruit, and I had not tried it before. The juice was like pear juice, including the grainy bits.FIrst course was "Russian Salad" (cold diced veggies with mayo) or beef soup. I had the beef soup, which had squash, yuca, celery, and seminola in a light broth, and if it had not been for the large piece of cow spine in the middle of the bowl, would have been great. Better quality than most similar restaurants, but the price is a bit higher, too.Second course had choices of Lomo Saltado, which they do a good job on, tripe, and some others. I chose fried mackerel (jurel). Got a filet of typical dark mackerel. Fried nicely, not as strongly flavored as this fish sometimes is. I was pleased to find only one bone in the fillet, which was nice after eating so much bony tilapia! The fish was not breaded, but was accompanied with white rice, a bit of onion/limon/cilantro salad, boiled yuca and a nice portion of stewed white beans, like navy beans. All in all, nice flavor, fair presentation, poor environment. Service was adequate.Price at S/.7 is a bit higher than average, food a bit better than avererage."

"Not a place for a meal, but following a meal anywhere in Tarapoto, it is highly recommended for an ice-cream or the superb cremolada de maracuya. The strength is their locally produced ice-creams based on many of the exotic jungle fruits not found elsewhere. My favorites two scoops include any of camu-camu, aguaje, coco, hungurahui, or just order some random flavors."

"Bad food for high price. try them like frozen pizza from the local business with dose vegetables and bad meat. after I had ordered the waiter left and my 3 other friends had not ordered. we wanted to order more and he sent another waiter, so we started. from any reason I have two pizzas. the first one away from the other and the second away from the others. there are many traffic noises and noises from the waiter watching videos on his phone. the place looks really nice and a bit expensive but eating and serving is not worth it."
