"I’ve been to this location many times and have always had wonderful service. The food was excellent and the price was under 10.00 for a good size plate of food. I got 3 eggs, 4 strips of bacon, toast, hash browns and coffee. Can’t beat...that for under 10.00. I highly recommend going there if you can."

"We tried pho metro for dinner. It was really good and reasonably priced. We had Pho, Vietnamese Spicy Noodle Soup, and number C11 (can't remember the name). We also had the rice paper spring rolls which were so good that we ended up ordering a second large portion. I highly recommend this place and will be back."

"Visited Yan's Cook in the food court for a birthday lunch. The order time was very fast as was the delivery of food. The quantity of food is great. It does us for 3 days of meals. Always enjoy going to Yan's. He is a very busy person working the counter and kitchen. I try and make at least 3 trips there a year as I am out in the east end of the GTA."

"Just a small note to say thanks to the gentlemen behind the meals to go counter on Wednesday night. You were so accommodating when I asked if you didn't mind heating up my sandwich, as I was staying at the hotel down the street and...didn't have a way to warm it up. He even offered to cut it for me and gave it a fresh wrapping. Small gestures go a long way for tired travelers!"

"Just had the worst take-out experience at the 7333 Woodine Ave. location in Markham. They screwed up the order for the lady in front of my friend and I. That should have been a sign to leave. The lady behind the counter asked my friend...what the item was that she was ordering while pointing to it on the menu. You work there, why are you asking my friend what it is? She ordered the Montreal Smoked Hash breakfast with a side salad. Not difficult but it took two waitresses to finally get her order in, with input from the kitchen. I ordered their Grilled Chicken Salad...Pretty simple and sounded good. Firstly, they didn't give me any dressing. I had to ask for it, and it seemed like a big deal to get it. Dressing....for a salad.....kind of a given. Secondly, it is the most disappointing salad I've seen in a while. It was supposed to have mandarin orange segments and red onion. It's just chunks of romaine lettuce, tomato and cucumber with a little grilled chicken thrown on for garnish. It is supposed to come with toast. They gave me a dry piece of toasted rye bread in a bag. I would never go back or recommend to anyone. Especially after I read the only review, and it was also bad."

"Went on Sat am around 10:30 no one to sit us and no tables big enough to hold 8 people. Waiting 45 minutes for breakfast only to get a Cold Breakfast The only thing they cared about was if your coffee cup was...full. I asked for a large glass of Ice water and I got a small juice glass ..... And the prices I guess are so high because the pile fruit on every plate that people don 't eat Go down the road to Markham Station and get hot food and your money 's worth The Early Train is the best deal ever and great ......."

"The School is a true 5 star restaurant in Markham worthy for that special occasion that will make you leave satisfied. The steak I had was superb and the chef was able to customize to my preference. Oddly I have spent more money on steak at Joey's and the Keg so this is by far a better venue to dine in. Supporting local businesses instead of the line chef cook by numbers establishments."

"I visited the restaurant with my boyfriend as we were gifted a Groupon to use for a quiet night out. I was a little apprehensive about going since the reviews seems to be all over the place. First off, the location is a little odd (in a small strip mall on the corner of a major intersection leading into a residential area), but don't let that bother you. Once inside, the decor is a little strange. Ocean/island themed, with stringed Christmas-type lights hanging form the ceiling, a "tree" in the middle of the dining room, and glass-topped tables with sand/shells underneath. Some reviewers found this off-putting, but I thought it was very cozy, and definitely something kids would love if they visited.So, on to the food. We had a 6 course meal. The shrimp cocktail was awesome! Flavorful and large shrimp, accompanied with a nice selection of Salad greens. The Lobster bisque was great, but did not contain any chunks of lobster that we could see. The salad was awesome! Again, with a nice selection of greens, and covered in a flavorful dressing. It was nice not to be served a run of the mill iceberg lettuce-based salad.On to the main courses...I ordered the lamb, while my date ordered the steak, and as main dishes, we were very happy with the size of portions served, and they were cooked just as ordered (Med-rare for the lamb, and Med-well for the steak). Extra points for that, since so many places that proclaim to be steak houses get this WRONG.Service was fast and courteous. The food was not "mind-blowing" exceptional, but we did enjoy everything we ate. I really liked the ambiance of this place, and would definitely recommend it for a date night. I liked that it wasn't overly fancy or pretentious, and seemed to be a great place to bring kids as well."
