"Went to Goodies during a work lunch break with a couple of co-workers. The restaurant was really clean inside and had a lot of fun decor on the walls. Our waitress was super sweet, and attentive and knew the menu like the back of her hand. I had the Turkey Club with a side of fruit, the sandwich itself was really good, had a lot of flavor and was really filling! But I was kind of disappointed to see the size of the mixed fruit cup. It was very small for the price of the meal. Maybe a little more than a 1/4 cup of fruit. Otherwise the meal was good and the server filled my drink at a good rate. Overall it was a cool location to hang out at for a little while to enjoy some good food."

"First timer at the National City location! There was plenty of parking and seating inside the cafe with 2 additional tables outside. You can find a few indoor outlets as well.I ordered the light green juice, the green delicious smoothie, and a ginger shot. The light green juice is very celery forward with a little spice from the ginger. The green delicious tastes a bit too much like banana so I would opt for more spinach next time. The ginger shot looks small but it's actually a lot of juice with pretty much no pulp and it's filled to the brim.I recommend pre-ordering using the clover app to earn rewards and a fast pickup. My drinks were ready as soon as I checked in with the cashier. Compared to the Bonita location, this location is much larger and there are other restaurant options in the plaza if you want to grab breakfast, lunch or dinner."

"I went to this restaurant for lunch yesterday. It's just a walk up counter where you order and then sit down. Nothing fancy but there is a very diverse menu not just standard Mexican food but also many Latin American options. I chose the Cuban Arepa. The portion size was huge and the meat was well done and flavorful. My friend got the southwestern chicken salad which he really loved. The salsas were all obviously homemade and tasted great. Our server was friendly and helped us make choices. All and all it was a good lunch. I'd like to go back and try some of the tacos and that salad!"

"Plain and simple, Denny's is good. I appreciate a reliable meal. I always have leftovers that I can indulge in at a later time. Denny's is good for families because of the prices and you are not limited to one cuisine. I've corralled at Denny's for a business lunch, after hours dancing, just because, dinner, balling on a budget. I'm impressed how the menu keeps reinventing itself while including traditional diner food like the patty melt. On this visit, I tried the American Patty Melt. I ordered swiss cheese and added sauteed mushrooms. The burger was pre seasoned, the buttered bread was grilled to a slight crisp with flavorful caramelized onions and mushrooms. Oh mios dios. Not even exaggerating! And if you love coke cola that is, this Denny's has the right carbon mixture for addiction. Dianna was a server sent from the Gods of Customer Service clouds. I've eaten at Denny's throughout San Diego and across the states, and this location shines with service, quality of food, quick turnaround, and customer care. I especially appreciated how the employees gently handle the panhandlers and those that are economically challenged.
