"Nice DQ, never too busy. If only they offered Grill and not just Chill! It's too bad the servers don't really care and will just handle your ice cream like it's dogfood. "A colorful place. I was surprised how large the place was when I stopped in for breakfast. The inside is so colorful with pictures on the walls for various menu items. It is such an inviting place.<br/ <br/ I ordered Cora’s Special, a couple of eggs, bacon, ham, sausage, a crepe, and some potatoes. It was a good amount of food. I had earlier looked at the website menu and saw all these colorful made for photos plates of food. They like to use fruit. When my breakfast arrived it was a colorful plate of food that looked like a picture. I was very impressed with the plating of mine and others I saw being delivered. That attention to detail in a breakfast place is great.<br/ <br/ Looks good, how does it taste? The eggs were cooked properly, the bacon excellent. I prefer a greasier sausage but I suppose this one was healthier and still good. <br/ <br/ Service was not as fast as I would have liked. The servers were fast, they were just doing a lot of things. Cora’s is great for sitting down and enjoying your breakfast, maybe not that great for grabbing a quick bite on the way to work. They sincerely wanted me to be pleased with my visit, and I was. If you are in a hurry you may want to mention it up front to help speed things along.<br/ <br/ All in all I believe this was my favorite breakfast place so far in Toronto."

"This used to be one of my favourite brunch locations. I 've been coming here for many many years, and I brought friends over the years too. Sadly, I don 't think I 'll be eating here again. The way we were treated by staff last time I visited was not nice. I don 't know what the name of the waitress is, but she had pink hair. We arrived there early, so the restaurant was almost completely empty. The waitress treated us like she wasn 't happy to have us there and as if she had other customers to attend. I don 't really understand this, but perhaps she doesn 't like big groups. For example she rushed us to order food, and when we asked for a couple minutes she said, If another group arrives before you order, I 'm going to serve them instead. I don 't even know what that means..."

"The website needs updating, it looked it might be closed but no! The flavours selection is curated and fantastic. Froot loop ice cream was delicious. Love how you can get 2 kiddie scoops. Sometimes it's all one needs. Service was great too. I recommend."

"Bonnevue Manor is described as a 'bed breakfast '; however it is totally unlike any B B or hotel we have ever stayed in! It is a Victorian urban mansion in a tree lined avenue, which has been superbly restored, and enormous care has been taken to match all the furniture, fittings and decor to the period of the property. Staying there you feel like you are personal guests of the owner staying in his country mansion which happens to be in the suburbs of Toronto. This is very appealing to an English tourist! Yet you rarely see the owner, who leaves guests to enjoy the superb accommodation. However upon arrival Glenn provides a superb brief covering the history of the house, information about transport etc, and goes out of his way to help his guests. There is no sign outside that this is a B B or hotel; it is just 33 Beaty Avenue to the passer-by. It has no need to advertise itself, as it clearly survives on personal recommendation and excellent feedback. After two weeks driving around Ontario we gave back our hire car before arriving at Bonnevue; however there is ample free parking behind the house, and had we realised how convenient this is we may have retained the car. The accommodation is excellent, clean and spacious, and there is a lovely guest sitting room on each of the two main floors. In addition our room had its own sitting area with a large comfy sofa, next to the TV. Soft classical music is played quietly and discretely in the background in the communal areas. There are also so many nice touches; an enormous bowl of chocolates in the sitting room, large tins of biscuits in the covered patio area, lots of interesting books and magazines spread around. The wifi is free and works very well. There is a self service coffee/tea station which offers an amazing 19 varieties of tea and over seven types of coffee 24 hours. Breakfast (served 8.30 to 9.30) is excellent with, in addition to hot food, an amazing variety of breads and cheeses. The time may seem a bit restrictive to some, but suited us perfectly. Although Bonnevue is in the suburbs, there is an excellent tram (street car) service along Queen Street West, with a stop just at the end of Beaty Avenue, five minutes from the Bonnevue, 25-30 minutes to Downtown. Queens Street West has many good restaurants within a short walking distance. Overall a lovely place to stay! It is a superb example of a very sympathetic restoration of a Victorian urban mansion, and a text book example of furnishing and decorating such a gem whilst accommodating all the necessary fire and safety regulations."

"This is actually a 4.5*. Excellent place for a cozy and relaxing dinner. Had their signature lamb burger and pint of organic beer. Lamb burger was simply superb, on Wednesdays they have all burgers for 11$. Overall a nice place to have fun with friends and a good meal."
