"We we're lured in by one of those guys who were standing outside, that we can have the dishes for 5 soles cheaper than on the menu with two beers. When we ordered they told us that it was just one beer and the guy that was standing outside came up with a story about happy hour, that only than it's two beers. Anyway, we stayed their cause it's looked quite good but when our dish came it turned out to be not as good as we expected/hoped. It's quite a shame that a fish restaurant that's less than 50 meters from the ocean doesn't serve fresh fish. I wouldn't recommend it!"

"We had the chorizo fajita, chicken sandwich and avocado salad. The first two were nice but mostly tasted of mayonnaise. The avocado salad was just a sliced avocado on lettuce. Prices are reasonable, service pretty slow."

"We stayed at the Arena hotel next door, so had vouchers for breakfast in the cafe. We had the option of a continental, American (scrambled egg) or vegan (tomato and avocado) with juice, bread and a hot drink. Good portion sizes and quality. We also...visited for lunch, which was OK but nothing special we had Spanish omelettes, which were thinner than in Spain and a club sandwich, which was very large. Service was average, so make sure you've got time to enjoy your meal."

"Small bakery with small selection of vegan broth and rolls. also other broth and cake. very reasonable prices. oscar is friendly and helpful. very close to the railway station grifo/ petrol, which has an excellent shop with a good selection of shiny and fresh fruit and vegetables."
