"This restaurant is very small but it is definitely a massive jewel in the crown for Portuguese food and restaurants. A warning to people going on their own…the portions are princely! It is a family owned place but I expect some family recipes are used because the infusion of beautiful flavours and spices are charismatic! I think that the chef is a genius with food! The service is really nice and genuine, the owner was really hospitable and helpful, nothing was too big or too small for her. I think people expect good food to come from big cafes or michelin star restaurants. I have been to some of those popular and highly rated restaurants acclaimed by food critics. But this tops the lot! Truthfully this was by an 11 year old!"

"I've stayed at the Peterborough Marriott on several occasions so I have eaten at this restaurant many times for convenience. However my last trip to this restaurant for dinner was very disappointing. The Maitre'd was rude and the service was severely lacking. I ordered the hamburger which came out black and looked more like a hockey puck rather than a hamburger. The dessert was not edible, Ginger toffee pudding as there was more large chunks of ginger than there was pudding. The restaurant also charges a service fee which they do not tell you about in addition to the cost of the meal. I tipped the waiter even though the food was not edible. So seeing a service charge on my hotel bill in addition to the restaurant bill and the tip was a little upsetting. When I questioned the hotel desk, I was told that this is a restaurant charge and not a hotel charge. In contrast to my dinner experience, the breakfasts at this restaurant are amazing. The buffet bar has a fantastic selection of eggs, bacon, beans, potatoes, etc. and the porridge is the best I've had. Also the omelet station is quite nice. Again, the Maitre'd is not friendly, but the service is fast and the food is yummy. If I was rating this restaurant only on dinner I would have given the Source Grill 1 star review. I will not be back for dinner."

"We went for lunch great atmosphere, staff were very attentive and we wasn’t rushed. My husband and I both had the ribeye steak one medium rare one medium it was cooked to perfection. All in all a very relaxed meal with great food."

"I was invited here for a birthday party. They didn't have the drink I asked for so I ended up having Coke. I was given a can and a glass. During my stay I asked for another can and paid. I couldn't believe it when...I was told it was for cans of Coke! I expected to pay more than a supermarket but probably about the same as a pub. This was about double pub prices! I know I certainly won't be returning!"

"Definitely value for money, fully stocked continental buffet and freshly cooked breakfast. Vegetarian options were tasty and food was hot. Was pleasantly greeted and served by Amanda. Would recommend a visit. Plus 2 children eat free with one paying adult."
