"Unlike most of the Veggie restaurants listed for Popayan, I could find them. I went for lunch and paid 5000 COP for Almuerzo. This consisted of a small dish of fresh fruit, a soup, a main, a dessert and a fresh juice. Everything was excellent and fast. If I had stayed in Popayan for a while, I would have gone. Go."

"We found Solano randomly and had a fantastic Maracuya smoothie with Granola above. We returned the next day for a coffee and were not disappointed. When it arrived (with loving care and a little time made) it was beautifully presented and tasted great. Worth a visit."

"I went here with my wife for lunch, I ordered a seafood salad and she ordered trout. The service was very slow, even to get our order of drinks and similarly the food was very average. They bring you a complimentary fruit salad to start (a little odd before a main course) and a small piece of complimentary cake to finish ( orange and poppy seed). As mentioned in other reviews it is good that they offer Apostol beer. The restaurant needs to improve a lot on service and in flavour, the trout especially came with a nasty tasting sauce and cold patacones and the salad came with raw clams but it does have a good location."

"I have been to this restaurant several times in my trips to Popayan, Colombia! They serve Local and International food. It is located in a safe area near el Centro, going toward the northern part of the city, it iswhere the good restaurantsare located. My favorite dish is the maduros (green or ripe plantains) fiorentinos. Their steaks have been great too. Staff is very friendly! Prices are ok, a Baby beef would cost around $10."

"The food is mediocre. Service terrible. Came back to this hotel after a few years (has much better room this year), but must say that restaurant altho it is beautiful the food is bad. We probably tried the worst, burned, loaded with fat empanadas, so if it was the first time you tried empanadas, you would never eat them again. Ceviche should actually be thrown on the garbage that is not served to the guests. Breakfast extremely limited, typical of 2-3 facilities with slow, annoying service."
