"After sightseeing in the sunshine we fancied a late lunch and a cold drink to relax. We spotted this very popular cafe with tables outside in the sunshine and made a beeline for it. Service was fairly quick and my husband and I got our...beers promptly, however my mother in law waited ages for her (very expensive at bottle of water. Lunch arrived eventually and although my asparagus soup was delicious, as a vegetarian I was alarmed to see a huge prawn dangling over the bowl on a stick. As I didn't mention I was veggie I couldn't complain and promptly handed it over to my meat eating Husband! They both ordered pizzas which they said was tasty, however the base was more filo pastry than dough based. Strange! I felt the restaurant was shorted staffed as the lovely friendly waitress was rushed off her feet and a little stressed. The bill was a hefty for what was rather a light snack. The interior of the place was lovely, very grand, and the toilets were clean and well stocked. It was a nice place to stop for a quick rest but I'm not sure I would go back."

"The Mauritius Bar in downtown Stuttgart was one of the best bars in which I drank cocktails. These were real XXL cocktails, in a price range of just 7 10 euros. The entrance is a little sideways in the building and surrounded by a few other shops. Also, in front of the bar, there are several chairs and a kind of “lounge armchair” (which are really very cozy and invite you to “laway”: situated. In the background, very good music ran from a local DJ at the time of the visit. We even liked this so well that we asked the service directly for the music. Fortunately, there was even a promo CD that we could buy (rare so lucky had at a bar where good music runs ."
