"Fantastic Sushi restaurant....one of my favorite for authentic, fresh and high end sushi. They have a long wait for reservations, but worth the wait. Due to Covid their seating is very limited. Call ahead and get a reservation, you won’t regret it. The beef roll and trout sashimi are too die for. The service was very friendly, the chef made incredible suggestions, the waitress was super efficient and the food was reasonably priced for the quality of fish/ingredients. A meal like this at Nobu would have been twice the price with perhaps lesser quality ingredients. The portions are very generous and filling. A must try place if you are a sushi fan."

"I find this place to be bland, just like many other restaurants over priced price food for large meals. I'd much rather they reduce their price per meal as well as the portion size to help control obesity in this country. I know what you're going to say, just don't eat all of it well if I pay for the meal and I don't like it's not going to get eaten. If I end up liking it, yes I can always take it home. I ordered the cheese fries with brisket (additional cost), had a couple bites out of the cheese fries thought they were greasy could have been the cheese or the deep fried oil from the fries but they were decent. I added the brisket which was good and they did have a jalapeno ranch dressing to spice it up. I tried something off the menu called the tamale cakes it was the lunch special with chicken. It's basically just sweet corn pancakes with chicken tenders on top with Valentino sauce to the side of them, I was not impressed, I envisioned some type of Mexican fusion with Southwest twist hence the name tamala cakes it was their attempt on chicken and waffles but I did not like it. I get what people like this place it's nice environment, staff is friendly the decor is nice but I may be back maybe once or twice to try something else from the outdoor menu to see if that will change my mind. Forgot to mention that they do have live bands in the evenings I forget which day it is, if it's daily or certain nights, and appetizer specials."

"A buddy of mine has been raving about Komodo Loco for several months, so when I had the opportunity, I had to see first hand what the fuss was about. It is off the beaten path, near Downtown Denton, off Hickory, on Oakland, which is a seldom traveled side street. The place looks like it is a 100 year old brick building that has an interior reminiscent of the best restaurants in New York City or Chicago, definitely not Denton. Very chic, yet very comfortable. Gabi our waitress was off the charts stellar. We started with shishito peppers that were pan blistered with sesame seeds and served with soy sauce and lemon, Wow! We followed with chicken skinz which are fried chicken skins served with wasabi micro greens, green onions, sesame Thai, and Korean barbecue sauce. Incredible! My friend had a bayou tower, which consisted of raw spicy tuna, avocado, serrano peppers, fried crawfish tails, creamy wasabi, eel sauce and cilantro. He said it was beyond fabulous. I had the fuego rojo roll. It consisted of spicy raw tuna, fresh jalapeno, ebi shrimp, habanero tobiko, strawberry, and sesame Thai sauce. The quality of food is beyond belief, the service is on point, the decor is cutting edge, and the prices are moderate. Dinner was one incredible taste after another. This is fusion cuisine beyond expectations. There is nothing in the Dallas Fort Worth metroplex that holds a candle to Komodo Loco. Put this place on your Bucket List and you will return time and time again. On a scale of one to ten, I give this place a seventy five."

"Denton Grille was literally closed Friday, March at pm. We found that out after we successfully booked OpenTable reservations and drove minutes to get there. The phone number for the restaraunt was out of service. I called when i got there and saw the obviously closed restaruant"
