"Visited on Saturday at around 1400, booking is full all day and walk in needed. Waited around 20 minutes to be seated. No set menu on weekend and holidays and thus ordered a la carte. Beef quality is excellent, pork is okay and chicken is a bit disappointing (portion is very small as you can see from photos). Vegetables are fresh in reasonable price. Overall it is a bit expensive and expect around $200 per head for lunch."

"Operated by a Swiss-French owner, Man Mo Dim Sum Restaurant on Hollywood Rd, Sheung Wan, is a definitive go-to for dim sum with a twist, where you’ll find esoteric French-flavoured adaptations of this traditional Chinese delight. I went with their signature choices Seabass Dumplings $68, Foie Gras Xiao Long Bao $88! French Peking Duck Dumplings $78, topped off by the Nutella Ball $32 for dessert. Everything is bite-sized, the flavours are subtle, but the novel concept made a big impression. Traditionalists might not take to the menu, but I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend giving Man Mo at least shot at pleasing your palette."

"Came here for our anniversary and they made the whole experience special and personalized for us. The restaurant's layout and decor was quite interesting. The service was exceptional, really happy with Lauren's attention to detail and GG's friendly service. We got the carte noire tasting menu (up to the chef's choice) and foodwise, the quality was excellent. The variety and taste of hors d'oeuvres were fantastic. The mains were no slouch either, with the turbot fish and pigeon pithivier which tasted amazing. We were so full and satisfied by the end we could barely finish the desserts. Throughout the menu, my partner and I got different items so we got to taste multiple items as well."

"This is a wonderful experience with a staff that goes beyond and beyond. I don't often find gluten-free bread, but the GF bread is incredible. Very conscientious in the menu prep. Incredible server staff that are very helpful!!!"

"Wine pair dinner ard 1700 per head, they got the details in presentation but the taste is average. Fail to bring out the freshness in several seafood dishes, they serve meats pretty good tho. Unlikely to revisit."

"The draw of Social Place on the 2nd floor of the L. Place on Queen’s Road Central is reportedly modern and healthy Cantonese fare using fresh and high quality ingredients with no MSG. Had one of their set meals for dinner that was reasonably priced and the food was at least average or better. Sadly, the experience was spoilt by the poor service and attitude of the staff. Won’t be recommending this place to anyone."

"Arrived on time for our 10PM reservation. Were told our seats were not available likely would not become available that evening. Senior staff was not at all apologetic or courteous to us about this, as if they regularly do not honor reservations. In effect, they gave our seats to late-stayers or walk-ins held our reservation as an insurance policy in case seats came open later in the evening. This was reprehensible treatment, particularly as Hong Kong is not a late-night town for quality dining we were left to struggle to find a proper meal. Avoiding this kind of nonsense is why we rely on OpenTable you should strongly consider removing this restaurant from your platform."
