"If a Japanese Izakaya and a seedy dive bar had a baby, you'd have this restaurant. You don't need to dress up to go here. You don't need to pretend to be anyone else to try to fit in here. This place is where the local working man would go to get drunk and randomly yell at the wall. The service sucks. The quality of the food is poor. But the beer is cold and the sign is open."

"I am not sure whether Lee's is the most authentic Banh Mi you can get in SoCal, but it's accessible in several locations, reasonably priced, consistent, and quite good! If you are sensitive to spice, ask for the jalapenos on the side, as they can vary greatly in intensity. The baguettes are baked fresh onsite, and you can even buy them plain for $2. "After reading other peoples reviews about the food, I tried to lower my expectations so I won't be disappointed. Their food was good and I loved their service. Their cheese risotto is a must if you love cheese!!! It took a while for them to prepare it. My taste buds are still smiling : The atmosphere was very interesting. They were playing Mexican music every now and then, which cracked me up."

"I regret not trying this place sooner! My husband and I are in love with their pizza and wings.As you can see in the picture, the pizza is completely covered with cheese and other toppings.They are not stingy with the ingredients.It is absolutely worth the money. I believe the owner,Bilal, is also the chef of the resturant and he is doing a wonderful job managing the customers and creating magical food.The best part is everything is halal! The halal peperonni is just amaaaazing."

"Some tips that made my night market experience better: 1) Park across the street from the AMC on the LA Fitness side and walk over as parking does get congested. 2) If you hate crowds and lines, go on a Sunday night which seems to be much sparser. 3) Bring cash for entry and for some vendors. Vendors were mostly Chinese BBQ to Mexican treats. Nothing much in-between. If you're a local, this is a cute little night market but don't expect 626night market variety in the slightest. I had the BBQ squid and a waffle puff dessert. Enjoyed both! I'd say take a walk around the market first before letting your stomach decide what it is craving. Thank you very much to the Yelp LA West team for the tickets. Very appreciated. Had a great time!"

"I came here for lunch for Omakase. I 've been to a number of places near by, and they have all been lackluster. I needed a new place to find better fish and rice. This place had high reviews, and was nearby so I thought I 'd give it a try. I sat at the sushi bar, and waited around 10 minutes to the dinner omakase for lunch. They have more fish options here, at a price, and it was fresh, Clean, and good. The rice bed was OK as it was hard in certain places and not enough acidity. Overall I think it 's a decent place with a market price for Omakase. I wouldn 't order it all the time, but it 's a good 2nd or 3rd choice."

"It's so good! We ordered Uni shooter, hamachi kama, ankimo, one dozen oyster, scallop carpaccio, tuna yellow tail and salmon sashimi and the total is just $170. The price is very reasonable for the quality of food served. I highly recommend it everyone."
