"We were really looking forward to our dinner at Badger Co as it had been a while since our last visit. The restaurant was beautifully decorated and very welcoming. Our food was really good and piping hot when it arrived. The only thing that let it down was the poor service. There appeared only to be 2 waiting staff, both of which avoided any eye contact with customers making it difficult to attract their attention. No-one asked us whether we were enjoying our meal, or whether we wanted anything else. Eventually we caught the eye of one of the staff and asked for the dessert menu. After 1/2 hour the menu still hadn’t appeared. My partner phoned the restaurant and said we’d been left hanging, we immediately got the menu and ordered dessert by a very embarrassed member of staff. It’s such a shame that service let our experience down, it could have been 5 stars!"
