"Superb !!! Had walked past the Emperor on numerous occasions and it has always been really busy so we finally decided to stop on give it a try. Probably one of the best decisions we’ve made in a long time. It wasn’t that busy (Sunday night around 8:30pm). We were greeted and shown to a table straightaway by the owner. We chose a banquet for 2 and asked for one item to be changed which was done without any questions. The soup, ribs spring rolls were 5 star quality. All hot full of flavour. The two main meals rice we’re outstanding. Fresh tasting cooked to perfection. Better than most Chinese food we’ve had in the UK. The owner offered us both a shot after our meal took the time to speak to us which was a nice gesture. Would highly recommend this restaurant. Don’t walk past, step inside. You won’t be disappointed. Would we visit again….most definitely!!"

"We were staying in the Colon and had food delivered from this restaurant three times. It is so so good. Each plate of food was delivered piping hot by friendly and professional waiters. We placed our order and 20 mins later the food appeared on time. We had lobster ravioli with saffron, light and delicate, the Lasagne was lovely plenty of sauce, pizza which was crisp and flavoursome, but for me the star of the show was the risotto, the best I have ever tasted, so good I had it twice. This place is such a bonus if you enjoy great food in the comfort of your room or on the balcony. We relaxed with an aperitif and waited for our gorgeous meal. The opened a bottle of wine and toasted a first class chef. Great experience."

"Visited this afternoon and like some other reviews I have just seen, the service was terrible and eating out. teig grilled tinted fish is not beautiful. the muddles were ok, but very few. the service was terrible. we go into sitting and...get menus and wee etc organized that came with the brot. then waited minutes or so that the only man at the place commanded to come to us, and it wasn't even half full. then arrive at least one more minute for dishes. there was no smiling of anyone, no, how was your meal, no thanks for coming. it was as if we were completely invisible to the older people who worked in front of the house. we asked about the bill and it was put on the table and we paid. nothing from the front of the houseman. he is either very unhappy what he does or should do something else. we give very few bad reviews, but sure if this is how this restaurant runs, we can only achieve it"
