"Ate lunch today at Steves. Where the meal may have lacked in areas the exceptional staff made the experience very pleasant. Chantelle (excuse me if spelling incorrect) was exceptional and is a credit tot the facility. <br/>I had the garlic prawns, followed by the brandy snaps, and a cappuccino. <br/>While the prawns were probably a fraction over cooked for my liking, the exceptional garlic cream sauce was the perfect partner. <br/>A well made cappuccino in a restaurant is becoming more rare by the day. Couldn 't fault today 's effort perfect coffee to complement the dessert. <br/>Brandy snaps were unfortunately piped with cream from a can which was a little disappointing because on the same plate was a perfect scoop of French cream with some bitter dark chocolate pieces. If that cream was whipped and piped into those brandy snaps it would have been a 10/10 dessert. <br/>All in all a pleasurable lunch. Happy diners were seen about the room. I feel $28 for garlic prawns is high end but I would happily pay the $4.60 for a cappuccino of that quality every day if I could. <br/>Don 't know if there is a 'Steve ' at Steve 's grill but if this customer can offer some advise Hang on to your staff made dining there a happy experience."

"On a winter juli evening we celebrated a birthday in this simple, clean caffe. a warm welcome was given at the entrance. we sat and had a bottle of water and glasses. the menu was comprehensive and competitive. our meal times became. cost to order and not disappointed. the generous offer of the Mongolian lamb was presented in an attractive bowl and seemed appealing. the lamb was juicy, the sweet had another crispy and the sauce was delicious. the satay huh came warmer in a metal shell with its own tee light. the sauce blows off and the meal was hot to the end. as the lamb, the flesh was tender, the sweet crunchy and the soak was after my taste. the meal was accompanied by steamed rice and a huge pot of green tea. the meal was finished with a free mango and sago egg drink something like a leti. it would have been the perfect accompaniment to a very spicy meal or to enjoy on a hot day. I love mango and this drink was simply refreshing and deserves to be on the menu. compliments to the cook and its efficient and friendly staff. that will be our new go-to-chinese restaurant"
