"I came to this restaurant with a couple of friends of ours and their daughter, since the first approach the service was great! The host paid special attention to our little girl, greeted her very warmly and ensured throughout the dinner that she had food suitable for her age. The service was fast and accurate and the food quality was excellent. Very good portions and great value for what we spent.The interior design is a paradise for nerds like us, with photos and references to all our favourite animes and mangas.I will definitely come back and recommend it to everyone!"

"This restaurant was recommended in Donna Wheeler 's excellent 'Pocket Precincts ', and after a couple of days exploring Lisbon I decided to come over to Almada on the Cacilhas Ferry which was cheap, quick and very easy from Cais do Sodrè Metro. The 20 minute walk was a good appetite enhancer (apparently theres an elevator?! And upon entering I was immediately made to feel welcome. The convivial hosts, who speak excellent English, recommended fresh cheese to start and I chose the Rice with Octopus which was SO DELICIOUS. This was accompanied by a lightly sparkling house wine. The restaurant soon filled up with friendly locals around 1:30, one of whom helped me plan the rest of my day. I highly recommend escaping the tourist traps and husle and bustle; this side of the river is beautiful and much quieter. The bill (nb 2 courses and wine came to €14,60. The liquor to match my hair was on the house Do come and try Kurika, you will not be diappointed!"

"We stumbled onto this place after visiting the museum pop art exhibit around the corner we were just looking for something like and time to relax and enjoy sitting after walking around the museum. The staff was very attentive and suggested a nice wine...to go with our pizza! It was just perfect! We did look at the menu and all of the food looked wonderful unfortunately we didn't get back but would certainly try it if we come back to Lisbon!"

"This restaurant is really close to Belem tower and that's why we went there. There was not many restaurants around and we gave them a try. Nothing to complain about except some smell from the glasses. Service OK. Food OK."
