"In town for the Europa League final and stopped here whilst looking around Basel. Square was packed & the restaurant was bedlam, however the waitresses were good natured, taking time to explain dishes vegetarian friend & I both had a great light meal with a couple of beers watching all the activity, very reasonably priced for the area....would return again in a heartbeat!"

"War wieder einmal im Tapadera- und einfach nur begeistert. Das bestellte Filet war wunderbar gewürzt und perfekt nach meinem Wunsch saignant gebraten. Das Gemüse dazu herrlich knackig und mediterran. Der Service wie immer sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Und in der Weinliste habe ich eine mallorquinische Perle zu einem sehr anständigen Preis gefunden."

"We had met with this restaurant online. Cordon-Bleu were offered with Pommes-Frites and sweet, as an appetizer a mixed salad and for dessert a melon gazpacho with 2 balls ice after choice. not exactly Spanish cuisine but why not. the offer there were two different trips with pork or calf to stand. we have decided to make the more expensive calf. We visited the restaurant on a Friday evening at 20.00 a.m., after prior booking.A family in the eruption were the only guests in the local. two vocally (extremely loud) guitarristas made for live music, a conversation among us was impossible. was delicious. then followed the salat. freshly cracked in a bowl with French or Italian dressing. After that, the cordon bleu from KALBFLEISCH followed.What we were always telling were kartoffel pieces that had about the 4 times thick of a Pommes frit and were not even cherry but mehlig. the mixed vegetables were boiled. the Cordon-Bleu was tough and it was easy to recognize (in color, consistency) and to taste that it was never calf. these were tough, long-lasting meat slices. we still ate this because we had starved and want to go back soon due to the ambientes and the now empty gaststube. to our complaint has been reacted with anxious wordless. the dessert was the gazpacho. in a glass the gazpacho was placed and in a coupe glass the icy presentation was questionable. the ice was good (purchased.) the gazpacho was a strange foamed something that reminded melone away. another lustful taste I didn't find out had overhand and made the gazpacho unniceable, just as lacking a bit of sweetness, it dominated something herbes. it is a separate creation, here it is on demand.The wine we drank was nothing special and too expensive in terms of quality (7.50/dl).The ambiente of the restaurant can be let go just through, even if I felt more in the kuhstall (several barbeque) than in Spain. which, on the other hand, was very positiw, was the flower decoration on the tables. small, fine and fresh, Bravo.To mention, this 3-speed menu would be offered at the regular price of chf 124-. even if my online voucher was much cheaper, it is really the point to apply and get new guests. whether this works?This was our first visit to this restaurant and will also remain the last."
