"Having stopped off briefly from a bus journey over the Tagras Bridge we stepped in here for a snack. English is poor then again my Portuguese is pathetic. Nifty way of menu viewer over a an iPad thingy. Anyway we managed an order. Parotid chips...not what we were expecting but other that that food, service and pricing are good."

"The food here is undoubtedly good. The waitress was helpful with good English, but I was mis-sold lobster when I expected langoustine (at some expense) and insult was added to injury when they couldn't take international credit cards. I felt the owner to be curt and rude at this point although I had the cash and had made no complaint about the evening. I love this country and it's people but did not feel welcome as a tourist here. This is restaurant for local people, there is nothing for you here."

A decoração tradicional e o local acolhedor iniciam uma experiência pelos petiscos portugueses que tão bem confeccionados são. O atendimento é óptimo e saímos de lá sempre com novos conhecimentos transmitidos pelo senhor que para além de atender troca sempre uns dedos de conversa. Aprende-se sobre petiscos, sobre vinhos enquanto se desfruta de todos eles. Um lugar calmo e adaptável a qualquer jantar, quer em família, quer em amigos ou até mesmo em negócios. Recomendo."
