"First of all, the extraordinary, detailed decoration falls on not every taste, but interesting; the seat cushions have already seen better days; in general, I would only mean comfort, the toilets were for example relatively clean, but antique and not fully equipped... But now for food: typical North Sea elastic with fish, huge portions (e.g. fish burgers), but also greasy and not easy digestible. Is sure a question of taste!"

"First time there, best table preorder.Tolles ambiente, very cozy.The service was flott and friendly. At the beginning we ordered an aperitif, very tasty, fruity and alcoholic.After that we ordered a bark meats, hot, tasty, great insert. Very tastefully decorated, deliciously prepared.Everything in all a very successful evening, without disappointments, which has become rather rare in gastronomy.Top performance dear sea rest team."

"I was at the hotel and decided to try her restaurant for dinner. Great view of the North Sea. The ribbed eye dry aged steaks should be almost melted in the mouth and easily cut. This was a bit hard, but taste was good. With spinach, grilled vegetables and a coke, the bill was 41 euros slightly steep."

"We were invited for lunch by regular diners of this place, who claimed that the restaurant has the best fish dishes in town. Their claim was not far from truth. I truly enjoyed my choice which was Schollen filets stuffed with smoked salmon and north sea shrimps. The Schollen was fresh and tasty. I didn't even need any salt, pepper or sauce to have it with. The portion size was generous two big filets, one big slice of smoked salmon, a spoonful of shrimps , accompanied by long grain wild rice (or you can ask for fried potatoes the german way or French fries and dill sauce. The dish is certainly value for money (16€ . Services were excellent fast, friendly, efficient. The interior is cosy and airy. Next to the restaurant is a fish shop where it certainly smells fishy but the restaurant does not have such a smell which is a plus side. I can certainly recommend this restaurant to visitors of Cuxhaven if they want to enjoy real fresh fish dishes. The menu for fish choices is large including salmon, cod, Rotbarsch, Limandes, Seelachs, Zander (sorry, I don't know English names of some of these fish . There also serve à la carte breakfast at reasonable prices between 4 6€ (higher for the choices with shrimps or multiple selection which includes rolls, butter, jam, smoked salmon, boiled egg, cheeses, scrambled eggs, North Sea shrimps, coffee or tea. I will certainly go back there."
