"The anticipation of an evening in Francesca was great because we know that we feel very comfortable there. As usual, we drove with the taxi. Shortly before 18:00 we were there and were greeted by Margeritha Rottino, the daughter of the house, with famous cordiality. I had reservations with Gheri the son. I said we'd like to sit outside. My wife had seen during the visit of the dentist in the same house that a new outdoor installation with large glass panes and 12 seats had been added. Now we learned everything was out there. It came with a Primitivo di Manduria San Marzano for a moderate 32 Euro. My wife liked him. Our red bread basket contained the ubiquitous fragments of the Pergamena di Pane and a fabulous homemade white bread, whose bright yellowing of the crumbs indicated the use of egg. My appetizer for 17.50 surprised me: Hummer/Spargelsalat. Half of the lobster was triggered as an example and was very decorative on some salad from the marinated green asparagus. I'm sick. Eyes to and through. As always, I just left a piece of well plastered bones. There was no room for a dessert. We also knew there were fresh strawberries at home. Salad leaves The Franciacorte did not appear on the final invoice. With such a small family business, it's not good. I tried to balance a little with 30 euros. Our taxi driver for return was an old rabbit and very safe."

"The restaurant is tucked into a quiet part of town. The dining area is beautifulthe furnishings, table settings, and lighting are first ratetruly an ideal atmosphere for a fine mealwith one exception: the scraping and washing at the sink behind the bar sometimes disturbs the...peace. The meal began with warm bread and three spreads, two of which were very good, and one of which, the olive butter, was to die for! Amazing. The lobster soup was fantastic, with a perfectly roasted scallop resting in the middle. The soup also included a tiny sandwichmore trouble than it was worth in my estimation, as its subtle flavor was completely overwhelmed by the soup. Among the main courses, the veal was tremendous: juicy, tender, flavorful, surrounded by just the right amount of subtle accents. The accompanying wine was perfect. Then came the dessert. Billed as a chocolate dessert, it was actually a small scoop of very delicious mango ice cream attended by a small bit of dry, essentially flavorless chocolate cake and an assortment of dry, flavorless chocolate tidbits. For ten euros! At the Italian gelato shop around the corner, I can get a much larger scoop of delicious mango ice cream along with a tasty cone for one euro. And I can go for a walk with it! The little scoop of mango ice cream at Hindenburg deserves a nice slab of rich, dark, decadent, flourless chocolate cake, or a warm, gooey, decadent chocolate soufflé. The staff was charming and attentive throughout the evening"

"I have been living in Copenhagen for more than 5 years; At (almost) every home visit at the wonderful Hanover with the family I return with anticipation to the always reliable excellent menu and not least the team back to the Castello! Recently the Castello connection even went to the high north: At the open tennis training I met a Brit who was stationed in Hanover in summer, not in Kirchrode, Empelde or Davenstedt, but in Herrenhausen. It turned out after the usual small talk game that he liked to come to the Castello, so small is the world, and so popular the Castello!"

"I hit this place after a STRONG recommendation from a trusted colleague, on my own in Hannover and near the hotel so why not, I had a pizza, due to my obvious inability to simply google translate I received a Parma ham and mushroom pizza,...yes people parmaschinken is not chicken, however great pizza, my rating would have been star BUT I ordered a wine which never arrived, and being Irish this is simply not good, but had that wine arrived......"
