"We came back here after a couple of years and it is still very good. The fish and seafood are very very good. It is worth the money. Many local people were having lunch or Dinner there as well which often speaks for the quality... authenticity of the food. First we did not want to go there because of the bad reviews- but thank God we still did trusting our previous experience. This is one of the best seafood fish restaurants we have been to. You cannot make reservations. Just go there early. We will come back definitely."

"My wife and I dined here in our last evening in Porto, on the recommendation of friends. We are very glad we did so. We travel extensively, including both throughout the US, Europe and Asia, and have dined in many high end restaurants. This was...the best of several good meals in Porto and one of our best in years. We had veal steak and roasted codfish. Both were delicious. We had a nice and very inexpensive Portuguese red wine. For dessert I highly recommend the cheese and marmalade plate. The restaurant is mostly frequented by locals. I suspect we may have been the only tourists but we felt very welcomed. It reminded us of a very small husband and wife restaurant we stumbled into in Rome several years ago a real pleasure and find. I would certainly return here if I ever come back to Porto, and I highly recommend it to anyone."

"Fui com um amigo almoçar. Por necessidade encontramos este pertinho de onde estavamos.Pedimos um prato de forno. O meu amigo torceu o nariz mas aceitou.A alheira de entrada era óptima. Melhor que o prato principal em si.Arrependemo-nos pois o prato todo ele era insípido de sabor, de sal.Polvo tenro, sem cabeça, só tentáculos apesar de eu perguntar no início se era polvo da costa e se vinha inteiro.Disseram que sim, mas depois viu-se que não.Serviço diferente em função da mesa. Se for conhecido é tratado como um rei. Se não for leva com o empregado brasileiro.Os mosquitos em permanência na mesa garantem que não adormece em função do calor da sala. Saimos a suar. Grande sauna mas não cobraram mais por isso.Carta de vinhos generosa e bem organizada.Estacionamento dentro do restaurante. Dá para colocar o carro à janela não vá a malta ter saudades. Para quem gosta de mostrar o carro é o sítio ideal."
