"We have been an on and off customer at Una's for many years. It is a local favourite and one which I would always give at least 3 to 4 stars, basic honest food. Things have changed over the years. Prices have increased and now...a Schnitzel is getting near $30 which is on the high side for a pub staple. What we really didn't like was their bad service, we ordered their Gypsy Schnitzel which comes with sauce, we asked for the sauce on the side and were then told if they didn't pour it onto the food there was an extra charge. Really ridiculous, we are not asking for extra sauce or anything other than not to pour it over the food. Pathetic, this was once a worthy basic restaurant but now far from it."

"They say..how much you travel but you will always long for your home-made food in that journey..the taste that reminds you of your town..the aroma and the delicacies...Such was the case with me while visiting Sydney sometime back..and as an Indian who loves all cuisines but can't get away from his curries...googling around and looking through a few near down places I dropped to The Colonial...and yes..it was like being teleported to my home kitchen in India...Amazing food..great hospitality and yes...its a little India in the heart of Sydney...!! Must tries:Aloo tikka - was super tangy and crispy just as you find in the food lanes of Delhi Mango prawn salad - this was a let's try dish and woah..it was tasty and the mango added some real good flavour to the fresh prawns.Chicken tikka masala - a never-go-wrong Choice of dish. Tender and spicy (because i asked them too) just as perfect as a Punjabi would make it."

"I went there because of the pictures they promoted showing perfectly cooked medium rare steaks. The steak was actually very flavorful but my disappointment was it was cooked medium and not medium rare. I did not make a fuss and returned it and ate it medium but because the meat was such a good cut it was palatable. I will usually return overcooked steaks. I ordered the chimmichurri as a side and found it bland. My colleague ordered the chicken avocado salad and said it was quite good"
