"This place was nice all tables clean and some tables closed to stay in guide line with Covid-19 separation. Food was great and waitress was nice. the staff all wore a mask . Will be back again."

"I made a reservation via OpenTable but they didn 't have a table set aside. Why? They weren 't set up for it yet . To make matters worse, they didn 't even attempt to apologize for it. [I am not saying give us a free app, although that would have been nice, but an apology would have gone a long way] We were shown to a table that was wet. : We ordered 2 appetizers and 2 entrees. They brought bread with garlic sauce to the table. The bread was very good but the garlic almost tasted raw. I I love garlic as much as the next person but this was too much. We got the lamb grape leaves one of my BF 's all time faves) and the hummus with lamb. The grape leaves barely had any lamb in them; they were mostly rice. The hummus was tasty and went well with the bread. We ordered the shawarma chicken lamb) and kebab platter FOR ONE emphasis intentional). The shawarma was OK, as was the kebab platter. We couldn 't understand why there was so much food until we got the bill. Our waitress had put it in for two three entrees for two people. We didn 't fight it and just wanted to get out of there. Because we were in from out of town and staying at a hotel, we weren 't going to take it back to a hotel. I think if we lived in the area, we wouldn 't anyway. It wasn 't that great. The waitress seemed aghast that we were not taking it with us, although we did explain why. Service overall was poor. Although the food wasn 't awful, it wasn 't spectacular. I am having a hard time understanding how this restaurant has received such good reviews in recent weeks. There must be better places for Mediterranean food around Novi/Detroit and with friendlier, more competent service. One last point they should really change the music. For most of the evening, they were playing funeral dirges or somber songs from the 40s. Not sure what that has to do with the theme of the restaurant or why anyone wants to listen to that while eating on a Friday night."

"After a long 4-hour drive from the bottom of the oh after several flights in this week, I decided to take a bite at bw because it is next to my hotel for work in novi, mi. my first time at this place, I am on a training trip from ca. I was relieved to find that novi contributes a bww near because I trusted with him to place in the opposite one unique in the opposite. I know what I like and everything. usually bww has a good service unless it's crazy. I have to tell you that this was perhaps the worst service I've ever had and it wasn't even busy at all. I go to the bar and the bartender looks at me like oh, super passiw asking if I want a drink? I'm sure I'll say thank you and command. after that, it regularly avoids eye contact even when it starts the conversation. I'm like, uh, okay, maybe she has a bad night? then I notice that she's on the move with others behind the bar and helps other people without such problems. I'm so. So I'll let her rest. Maybe she closes and ready to go home? idk, what the problem is. she asks me if I want another drink from behind me minutes later, I turn around and tell you, she avoids eye contact immediately and seems really to have a problem with me. just me. I've never been to michigan before. I never met this person. Maybe when she saw my California ID, she had a bad experience with someone from there? Maybe she feels like seeing young in the eyes, invites flirt or something? I have never said anything inappropriate and thank you and apologize for everything we discussed about eating or drinking. I never did anything out of the line or not at all on any wise. a few more minutes. the same thing she's re-initiating a convot, I see from my work email on my phone, and she immediately switches eye contact before I can finish the answer. I'm okay with wwf going here? she brings my food from behind, then the lemon falls out of my drink and says, oh do they want one more? instead of the ones that let her fall? idk what he was problem, but I paid, left my food and will never be here again. do they put someone behind the bar that want to be there and cares about their habits and do not judge them all preemptiw on the basis of earlier experiences with other people or whatever their problem was? I have no idea. I have bars in ca, which are much harder and much more overcrowded, the at least what they can do is smile and eye contact with mules. at the end when she sees that I am willing not to touch and go eating, she suddenly looks at me and goes there a problem? idk is there, apparently there is? unreal. it was quite sad idk when I returned to a bww, but certainly no time soon."
