"Very pleased with this restaurant. We went on a Sat. morning to reunite with some old friends. The staff prepared a table for us even when we did not have a reservation they even offered to open the bar especially for our group so...we would have enough space. The restaurant was almost full always a good sign! We all ordered variations of the Breakfast Special and everyone enjoyed their meal. We stayed for 2 and a half hours visiting and even though they were busy, we did not feel rushed or under pressure to leave. Very hospitable! Excellent service! Good food!"

"Go elsewhere. Staff power trips on excuse of Covid. You will be treated much better somewhere else. We went in at am Saturday morning for breakfast and there was only one other patron table occupied. We were given orders in a dictatorial tone, we...abruptly left and went elsewhere. Orders to raise masks, to surrender every single persons identity for contact tracing rather than one representative. Total overboard. But that's ok there are many other places to go that will treat you better."

"I like the atmosphere (spacious, variety of seating choices, not loud) at The Open Tap Brew Pub and Eatery. Our family went for lunch. Note : minors are allowed until eight in the evening. It was quite busy probably because it was Friday. Our orders...were taken promptly but we had to wait for our food. No big deal because we weren't in a rush. We received good portions for all four meals. Glasses were mostly full of ice. I prefer more drink and less ice. We ordered Meat Loaf Sandwich, Red Coat Burger, Chicken Caesar Wrap and Greek Wrap. Three sides were fries and one side was a garden salad. The fries were very good, served in wire baskets which resembled deep frier baskets. We asked for gravy and got two tiny containers each. I really enjoyed the Meat Loaf Sandwich (on a pretzel bun) It had a very tasty BBQ sauce (Applewood) and smoked cheese. The bun was smaller than I expected but the meat loaf was very thick so I was full. Both wraps were large with plenty of ingredients. Note: the Greek wrap has beef, not chicken, and lots of chopped peppers and onion. The burger patty was big and was topped with smoked gouda and onion rings. There are so many tempting offerings on the menu, so I will definitely return to try something different."

"We had a great evening out, the food was amazingly good and our waitress was the best! She kept the bread coming the whole time The calamari had the perfect amount of spice, omg it was delicious!! 5 stars! Definitely will be going back with the whole fam !"

"It's been a few years since I've been here, as both the food and service had really gone downhill. Decided to give it another try because there are a few rolls that I haven't found anywhere else. Plus, while they do have regular tables and chairs, they also have a zashiki style seating area, where you take your shoes off and sit on the floor (they also have the sunken floor area for your feet, making it a little more comfy)!!! Things have REALLY turned around here! The staff were so engaging and attentive! The food is back on track and so tasty! Even the inside has had a few changes made. Definitely a 180 from the last time I visited; makes me wonder if maybe there is new ownership. The Stir Fry Udon, Japchae, Hawaii roll (all pictured) are hands down my top 3 fave things on the menu! The egg and cheese (also pictured) is also super tasty, made with tamago (sweet egg) and cream cheese! And if you're looking for something fairly unique to here, try the Oshinko roll (pickled radish, not pictured)! The Beef Tataki on the supper menu is also super delish and should not be overlooked!!! The washrooms, ladies specifically, is in a sad state of disrepair and in definite need of repairs. One stall door you need to fight to lock and the other stall had no toilet seat... in the ladies. The sink was clogged and half full of gross used water. The ceiling fan appears to never have been cleaned. Personally, I would recommend avoiding using the washroom if at all possible!! Had I not used the ladies washroom, hands down I would have given a 5 star review!!! If you've never been, you're missing out! If you stopped going because it wasn't any good a while ago, you need to give it another try! However, plan to avoid using the ladies washroom!"
