"We have had pizza from Middle Rock many times and always enjoyed it. Occasionally I find myself adding a little extra salt (to the Garlic Prawn Pizza) but otherwise, the flavours are delicious! They are also very generous in giving out free garlic bread, if you have previously posted a photo on Facebook of yourselves enjoying their pizza. Recommended!"

"Across our 4 days in Port, we have experienced some great food spots. Unfortunately this wasn't one of them!!It was very poor!I am sure they were missing a manager or someone providing direction this evening - the staff were literally all over the place. We saw meals and drinks coming and going to wrong tables, back to the kitchen, back to the bar.. staff were literally running (terrible waiting etiquette - you should never RUN to and from tables!!) The staff were all extremely young and there just seemed to be no one in charge! Admittedly, they were pleasant and trying to offer a decent service however it was obvious no one had a clue what they should be doing.The food was very average. My husband ordered oysters to no availability... no oysters at a seafood restaurant on a Saturday night!?Instead he got the prawns in prosciutto - he said they weren't very nice at all.For main he ordered the barramundi - again, he said it was terrible! He said he thought it was under cooked, the fish was watery. I ordered the pork ribs. They were ok. We would never go back nor recommend it. There are far too many other great places to eat in Port!"

"Yummy yummy yummy.... we are locals how did we not know how fantastic this restaurant is? I had the duck breast for main course ....never have I had anything as yummy....I would like to be able to give my review in the style of a seasoned restaurant critic...but I'm just a girl with a wonderful group of friends and we had a fantastic evening...good friends, fantastic food, a wonderful night out...we will be back ...thankyou"

"On our northbound journey to QLD we stayed overnight in Port Macquarie. The four of us had dinner at this restaurant. Judging by the number of patrons that night, it was a popular choice. Unfortunately, for us, it was not a highlight of our trip....The staff were friendly and helpful, and eager to please, and the menu was adequate. The decor attempted to be Italian but was very dated and lighting was dim. The pizza and the calamari were really the only good dishes we had that evening . The spaghetti marinara lacked flavour. We love Italian food, and we have it often, so we are sorry that we cannot recommend this restaurant to others."

"The spaghetti marina was horrible, dried out prawns and mushy pasta. Tasted like it came out of a tin. The Tomato based ravioli sauce tasted even worse. The garden salad had a strange sweet gherkin, end of a grated carrot and 1 tiny bit of feta. Ended up throwing the meals out and going out for ice cream."
