"There aren’t a lot of options in Spalding for lunch and I was recommended that this one would be fine (as my usual choice of the local Italian when in the town is closed on a Monday). The strength of this branch is by far the service. The lady there is so welcoming and friendly, she is really exceptional. The meal was ruined by the waitress placing two ladies with two toddlers next to us, as they were literally screaming as they were seated and this continued throughout our meal. I am glad people take their children out for meals, but it was inconsiderate of the restaurant to seat them when screaming right next to us when there were empty tables around both sides of the restaurant. We were trying to have an important conversation and could not talk at all. Finally the food it was cold in parts and hot in others. Microwaved? My own home cooked version was better."
