"Our 10 day stay in the San Telmo area of BA included a dinner at Il Sorpasso, a charming restaurant near our apartment, just a few doors from Plaza Dorrego on Calle Humberto Primo. What a great Italian dinner! My wife and I shared a...salad (Ensalada Sopressa) that was bountiful, full of fresh veggies, meat and cheese (couldn 't eat it all for fear of having no room for pasta). Then my spaghetti Bolognese and her pasta frutti di mare were both to die for delicious beautifully seasoned, flavorful and perfectly al dente. This wonderful meal was accompanied by an excellent bottle of chardonnay and ended with an expresso for the amazing price of 650 pesos about US $43 for dinner for two. Do yourself a favor and try it for an outstanding, dinner in a relaxed, cozy atmosphere. We 're going back!"
