"I love that once you have ordered here once, you can give them your number and they know you! That aside great wood fired pizza and pasta consistently. In 3 years I have had only one forgivable bad experience one night when there was a staffing issue. The pizza was undercooked. That was an exception. Overall: great local takeaway wood fired pizza and pasta"

"Very surprising. Excessive expectations. Service a little slow. No alcohol-free beer or wine only mocktails. Ine through the glass also a tad expensive. Enjoy the background music. The lamb shoulder was delicious and I didn't think a Zuccini salad could taste so good. Friends have the meat stock plate and cauliflower side. Impressed."

"I got given a Birthday voucher to dine at Embassy 97 from Groupon. Upon calling to make reservations, the lady on the other line, asked "when would you like to make a booking? " and I said, "Next Sunday". She was a about to say, "yes..there is .." but she stopped and said instead," have you got a voucher?" I said, "yes". She then said," In that case, we can only fit you in on a Monday night". I was a little confused, so I asked her, " What if I am not using a voucher, is there reservation on Sunday?" ..She then pretended to not hear what I was saying and just repeated herself, "you can use the voucher on Monday." I then said, a lot more clearly, " so you are saying if I DON'T want to use my voucher on Sunday there is reservation, but if I DO want to use my voucher there is No availabilities on Sunday? She then realised I am not giving in until I get a clear answer and proceeded to tell me that they will not take vouchers that night because that night there's too many vouchers already being use at the restaurant and they can not book out the whole restaurant based on vouchers. Now, I can understand her honesty and appreciate that it's business at the end of the day but from my point of view as a customer who is planning to spend money at this restaurant, this is ridiculous! How does the restaurant know I will not order more then what is on offered with the voucher? How do they know I will not spend money on EXTRA drinks and other exclusions that they don't offer with the voucher? And it's not like a voucher is free money, it's discounted but not a free meal! So, if EMBASSY 97 is not ready to take on the etiquette of honouring a voucher for genuine customers, then good luck to their business. I will not be attempting another reservation, I will call it a lost with this voucher. #disappointed"
