"This restaurant is known to provide smaller portion of food and higher price than other restaurants. Food can be good or bad depends on how lucky one is. Ordered 7 items: Rice in bamboo container with shrimps similar to Shanghai veggie rice, taste...good and there were 6 8 shrimps. 6 of us could have at least a bowl of rice a shrimp. Deep fried dace fish balls Menu says it's dace fish but indeed it's some other kind of fish. Still taste good, fish ball was pretty big. The claim sauce wasn't the authentic although the menu says so. Shanghai style fried noodle Barely acceptable. Noodles were broken and overcooked, too soggy. The Great Taste in China Town makes way better. Salt and pepper deep fried tofu Crunchy fried tofu, taste right, not too salty. Highly recommended. It will be better if they cut the tofu in even sizes. Stir fried pork with chives Taste good. They cut pork belly into tiny pieces so it didn't taste too greasy. Snow pea leaves with oyster mushroom in oyster sauce Veggie was green and fresh but the whole dish was tasteless, Wonder if the cook forgot to add a pinch of salt in, although happy there was no MSG. Cantonese Poached Chicken w/ Ginger Scallion Oil Chicken was definitely overcooked, being soaked in hot water for too long, although taste good. So very unpredictable, you never know whether the cook would make standard food or screw everything up."

"Whenever we need to go out, we invariably find a Chinese restaurant at least once. They're usually not expensive and the food is fresh. taketome is no exception. You get a good quality meal for a reasonable price. I love always soup and lollipop.One order is more than enough for 2-3 peopleLove it.. Tasty and good spacious.May be some time i feel they do not know how to make a customer happy by talk .They need to improve that. Overall very good with food and price side."

"If you never had Korean fried chicken you are missing out! Korean fried chicken is so crispy and it isn't oily and the Ogam does it justice. The pieces are huge and fried to perfection! I absolutely adore it! It's always been consistently good here and the service is amazing too! I highly recommend this place :"

"Dined in this weekend. Table for two. We were seated immediately by our server and placed drink orders shortly after.We opted for the dumplings to start and weren't disappointed, lightly battered, fried and filled kimchi style. Flavors were well balanced and we especially liked the mix your own sauce table-side. Mains were the spicy beef soup & house special pork on glass noodles and were presented within minutes of the starter. Spices were generous as were the portions and were balanced as far as oil goes. Very spicy, this is great!Service was average, she sadly never came to clear the table. Quality of food outweighed service so we will give it a shot again in a few weeks. Prices were very fair."
