"My three tick of approvals for Asian food are 1. Value for money2. Great taste3. Generous serving This place is easily once of the best eateries in Footscray, and ticks all those boxes. One of my favourite ways to assess the level of Asian-ness in the food is to try the wan tons. Hao Phong's are really flavoursome and the soup is not too salty. I also ate the Vietnamese pork and prawn wan coleslaw. Generous serving and delicious. I will definitely be back to try more dishes. There is nothing worse than sitting in a restaurant - in Australia - on a sweltering 38 degree day without air conditioning. Hao Phong pumps out some nice cool air which means you can enjoy your meal."

"A lovely cafe in Elsternwick. From the decor to the menu, it's all very Melbourne themed!<br/ <br/ The interior heroes beautiful grey stone. The space is open, and feels very contemporary.<br/ <br/ DRINKS<br/ Flat White with Almond Milk: A lovely coffee that was smooth. I'd definitely opt for the large size, because it was significantly bigger than standard<br/ Snickers Smoothie: A peanut buter/cacao delight!<br/ <br/ FOOD<br/ Panna Cotta: One of the most photographed dishes in the Melbourne food scene. Not only does it look beautiful, but it tastes amazing. The panna cotta itself is soft, smooth rich. I loved the array of fruits the unique banana sushi!<br/ Green Salad: A go to salad for me, as it's got everything from eggs to salmon to quinoa kale! If you're looking for a healthy brunch dish, this is one to try<br/ Omelette: I really loved the taste of this dish! <br/ <br/ The service was very friendly. The restaurant was at capacity, so it took a while to get staff attention to order the food. However, once the order was taken the food came out in good time!"

"I have lived in the opposite for years, and whenever my family saw the red house, we always drove past, thought it was just another Chinese farewell with really sweet, untraditional Chinese food. Recently we decided to get away by chance, and I can't believe that we have gone so long without going here.
Whilst, in my opinion, most of their moving fry dishes are on a sweeter, western Chinese taste, their roast and pig battle are my favorite and taste very authentic. I have often grown up to eat pork and pork, many places to try, and most of them I do not remember how their escape was chewy and the booze fat was really good in the texture. red house’s ente is delicate, and her frying pork is always really good, and we always order this! Other dishes I loved are her crispy roast beancurd, the fish with sweethorn soup and the chicken ribs with salt and pepper.
I also love how they recommend beautiful takeaway freebies each time we order, we always get to eat a frying frying!"
