"We knew we were in for a poor experience when we sat down with a menu and the waitress started to tell us what wasn't available on the menu because they ran out. We then tried to order some wine, the waitress again began to...name all the bottles of wine which weren't available because they had run out. We ordered Sunday lunch, the veg must have been cooked hrs earlier. If the cook and the waitress are happy to put this in front of customers, then they aren't going to be interested in a complaint at the time. Bonus is was free with tesco vouchers, my advice would be don't visit without vouchers."

"Last night I visited my friend who is regularly too zaikas and I myself was a few times before. last night our first visit back to the restaurant was lifted since the shutdown. my goodness, I really forgot how amazing it is to eat! I...have garlic mushrooms for appetizers and tandoori king prawns for pornstars and it wasn't due. the type that served us brought us the wrong bottle wein, a real mistake, but we didn't want to say that the waiter came over later and said he realized his fault and he would give us the bottle wein free because of the fault. this was a completely unexpected gesture and we would have been more than happy to pay for it, but it only shows the fantastic customer service that the youngs have at zi and the reason we always come. I missed you and your food, and I can't wait to come back soon!"

"Been a few times and consistently a welcoming experience. Tried a few things on the sandwich menu and nothing disappoints, food is fresh and cooked well. What stands out are the people, always happy to chat and accommodate, whilst offering good recommendations along with insights into the individual dishes which shows the care they put into the experience. Has become a regular spot for lunch to us. Highly recommend"
