"This place used to be amazing. It was a quiet evening when we arrived. The waitress took our or our 4 and went away.... And from... 45mins later our food arrives, after 2 inquiries. I ordered the mixed grill plate. The dice of the chicken were good except that u would get Tikka dice and Malai dice. There were no Malai cubes... I wasn't ready to wait for them to get it right... so I ate. Go to the main piece of chicken, the Tikka breast....what a disappointment. I ordered extra hot... it was barely hot....but the bottom certainly had its fair share of heat...cos it was black. Again, I wasn't worried because I wasn't the one who puts the party on everyone else's feet. But... the table next to us was very unanimously waiting for her over an hour... very disappointing."

"We ordered a full chicken, it was very tasty including the garlic naan we ordered on the side. the Indian guy I suspect is the manager/owner delivered very good service. he has always checked to make sure everything is good and he ensured that we were satisfied with our meal times. very good service."

"Beautifully nestled away in the heart of Gillits...this venue is perfect with or without kids. The food is Delicious, the service is always with a smile and the new owner personally gives you attention. We had a relaxing evening unwinding after a hectic week. You can eat in or order as take out! All meals were freshly prepared, so grab a drink as you patiently await your meals. Highly recommended"

"Previously known as Talk of the town in central Durban. Options recommended by the owner. Superb taste and great service. We visited with a party of 10 kids included. Started with the aloo paratha with cheese which was like a potato pizza. Then had a platter of prawns and the family platter which had steak,kebabs,2 full chickens,boti chick3rn pieces and chips. More than sufficient and we had leftovers. Finished the meal with masala tea and cuppacinos. Vibe was busy . Its a small place so I suggest you arrive early or make a booking. We waited less than 20 mins for the starters and the food arrived shortly after. Tastes were spicy but not hot. tasteful. will definitely be back . prices are reasonable. not cheap."

"Food was great, and prices are reasonable. Curries are served in a pot with a heating flame to stay warm, while rice, naan or other sides are served separately. I had the Thali, which is a 'plate of the day ' platter consisting of a starter, 4 curries, rice, roti and a pudding (it was so much food that the last couple of bites from my platter was cold by the time I got to it yet still delicious). Waiters are friendly and helpful in explaining all their dishes. I 'm curious to try all the other dishes on their menu. Definitely go for a starter, main and pudding and perhaps order something you don 't know, to increase your taste experience."
