"Food is great! People there are extremely nice and they will make sure that you get the food which you want. I personally needed some curry to go with Biryani since I don’t prefer Raita. They provided me with curry instead of yogurt. Superb place : must visit!"

"Calling all dosa fanatics in East Bay!!!If you are a dosa lover, this place is a must visit. The best Rava dosa I've personally had in all of North America, the ultra-thin and crisp combination is what will bring us back when I visit the area again. I think you could also order the masala version of this which is another nice combination. Our table also ordered onion-chilli dosa, kaaram podi dosa, masala dosa which were all big hits too. Don't forget to ask for more of that super delicious sambar which reminded me of what one would get in proper tiffin places in Tamil Nadu.We also ordered the chicken tikka biryani, and this interesting twist on the standard chicken tikka did not disappoint. Everything was great taste and served at perfect temperature."

"This is a very good Indian restaurant and have been going for 9 plus years. Their north Indian curries and biryani and really good. Due to its name, people dont realize this is an Indian restaurant. Good spacious and clean interior ."

"This new restaurant is absolutely lovely and has excellent food!! The ambiance in the restaurant is very pleasant and relaxing. They had wonderful service, and the food came so quickly!! All of the food was absolutely delicious! And large portions for the price, too, which was very reasonable compared to other similar restaurants in the area. I will be revisiting often!!! Love this place I hope they find great success."

"We are from Sacramento and our Navy son who is stationed in Japan was visiting his wife in Monterey so we wanted to meet half way for lunch. We all love Indian food and found this on the internet so we booked through Open Table. Loved it. They were very accommodating and even though they had a buffet offered to cook something special if our son wanted it. He didn't the buffet was excellent and more than enough."

"Halal meat is served here. Owners are famous Muslims and one of them also leads Shalimar in Sunnyvale. The food is very similiar although Shalimar is a little better. I tried the Chicken Tikka Leg Piece, the CTM, Seekh Kabs (both chicken and beef) with garlic Naan and Mango Lassi. The food was pretty good. The CTM was not as tasteful as what I used at Shalimar, but was still good. The garlic Naan had not as much garlic as I want, and very little butter was placed on the naans. Tikka and Kabababs were pretty good. The staff here is friendly and they also take credit cards (although they prefer cash). I'd probably come back here if I'm in the area."
