"We tried this for the first time and consider it a hidden gem. They are located in an office building and you would never know it was there, unless you knew it was there. Ambience: Small and casual, but clean with large windows overlooking the retention pond. There were outdoor tables and we wondered if we would have been allowed to eat out there. Closing hour is 5pm, so they definitely cater to the office and hospital crowd in the area, and since your orders arrive in take-out plastic containers, we were guessing they do a lot of take-out business too. Staff: The staff was friendly. You order and pay at the counter register, but they were nice enough to bring it to our table. Food: We both had the combo with pancit palabok and ukoy. The pancit was awesome, well presented, great flavor, generous portion, flavorful sauce, with shrimp, thinly sliced pork and hard boiled eggs along with the usual toppings. We were mildly disappointed with the ukoy. It was basically a fried cracker (think the tempura bits that come with Japanese take-out soup or the extra fried bits that come with a fried seafood platter and that is what this is in cracker form . To be fair, at a price point of $7.99 for lunch, we weren 't expecting too much, but we probably should have opted for the lumpia instead. The ukoy (served with a nice vinagar added texture to the meal, but had we known that it is basically a fried batter chip (no visible vegetable, shrimp, etc. , we would have probably skipped it. We also split a mais con hielo which was very nice. Sweet, corny with some cereal flakes on top and a little ice cream. It was a nice sweet finish to the meal. We purchased a lot of the baked goods to bring home and sample, so we will definitely update the review (ensaymada, siopao, empanada, etc. . Next time we want to try the halo halo and some other dishes on the menu, and those cakes in the case will be ordered one by one until we have tried them all! Still a five star rating, just because we have no doubt that we will be regulars now!"
