"Horrible experience, I went to this place to be sociable for my brothers birthday, as I dont eat curry, therefore I had 3 poppadoms and a portion of chips( about 10 chips) and 2 drinks. We ordered am extra pickle tray with this being my main meal, when it arrived I had to ask several times for salt and vinegar for my very bland chips, first just the vinegar arrived then 2 mins later the salt! Very poor service, staff running around like headless chickens. At the end the small guy (the owner I think) presented a bottle of wine to my brither for his birthday, little did we know he was to add this to the bill. When the bill arrived the small cocky guy snatched the cash out my brothers and my boyfriends hand and said it'll be £40 a head, I said mine isn't as I've not had a main meal, so I attempted several times to ask how much each item was so we could work it out fairly, the bill was scribbled down so we couldn't read what he was charging but he snatched the bill away once he got his money, very rude and it annoyed me a lot, he then had the nerve to think hugging and shaking our hands was appropriate on our way out, I was fuming, will never touch this place again, dearest chips I've ever had, ill go to the chippy up the road instead next time, at least ill get a decent meal, seems they don't appreciate card payments??? Mmm I'll leave you to ponder why but quite obvious to me why they insist on cash.... I am not sure how they have scored the reviews they have when they clearly are just out to rip people off. AVOID."
