"I remembered walking by Lamesa Filipino Kitchen at least 4 years ago, at the tail end of my last trip to Toronto. I promised myself, that I next time I visited, it will be on my list. Well, I’m finally here. I’m not too familiar with Filipino food as I’ve only have it a handful of times. But I’m fascinated by all Asian food. This is an elevated version of Pinoy cuisine."

"We are a health conscious family and Casa Manila did not disappoint. Presentation also matters! Mila pre-arranged the meal ahead of time for us providing a tapas style menu. The vegetable spring rolls lots of filling with seasoned vinegar, fish tacos with chunks of fish not dough amazing! , vegetarian pansit, kare-kare with tofu real peanut sauce no msg was flavourful and light. The okoy sweet potato with shrimp was crunchy and hit the spot. We topped it off with Calamansi iced tea and some of us had the Calamansi mojito! Perfect on a hot summer day! Sit inside this cozy island feel Restaurant, clean and well lit with touches of the Palma Brava decor. Or sit outside people watching on the patio. The waitresses were so hospitable which actually resembles the true Philippine hospitality. Good idea to make a reservation! We will definitely be back! Worth the drive from Oakville!"

"Filipino food is more difficult to come across than the more abundant Thai and Vietnamese cuisines. My friend and I were disusing this very fact when we happened to stumble across this hidden treasure. This restaurant is inexpensive and serves delicious fair in a warm environment. The Grilled Chicken Inasal and Lechon Kawali are both well cooked and delicious. The rice these dishes come with can be, upon request, topped with caramelized garlic bits. This gives the rice a unique and enjoyable taste. My only complaint is that the rice itself was cold by the time it was served. The highlight however, is the Pansit Guisade. This famous Filipino dish was prepared wonderfully and bursting with flavors. The restaurant is relatively small, with not a whole lot of seating room, but it is very cozy. The staff at this family run business are friendly and accommodating often chatting with their customers. This restaurant is perfect for dinners among friends or family members."

"We were in town for a cousins wkd and had are so happy we found the Indian Grill. The two young women working were helpful and made us feel welcome...and put up with our silly antics. The food was delicious! The Tiki Marsala was just...perfect and the garlic naan melted in your mouth. We tried the hot pickles and they were a great surprise. We highly recommend dining here."
