"Risu is a hidden restaurant in downtown Long Beach. It’s on the second floor between parking garage and apartment. There is no real outside signage so you really have to pay attention. Once you do find it and make it to the second floor you find a small restaurant, mostly outdoors, in the corner of the building on the rainbow walking bridge. It truly has a lot of potential. When we got there we initially sat outside but they had no outside heat source. Once they get that going it really could be amazing. The food is good, although our brussel sports were a little over cooked but I like them that way. The sashimi was on point, the drinks were great and the dessert was excellent. If they can get the outside heat going and how to get to and get into the restaurant as well as leave (you need a code, but we had to ask) they could really have something special. I still say give it a try. I would go back."
