"I always make it a point to visit this place when I am in San Diego. The staff is really friendly and the food is amazing. There is plenty of parking out front and in the back. My son always gets the orange chicken bowl and subs in noodles instead of the rice. My daughter and I get the sushi rolls. The Pine Valley roll and Rainbow roll are my two favorites. "Food was pretty good, I was happy with my order. Service was terrible. We went for Mother's Day and the restaurant was full. Maybe they just aren't used to it being that busy. But that should tell you everything right off the bat. We had our very small table full of appetizer plates, when our food came we asked them to remove the plates for us and they never did. We had to ask for water twice. Just for water! Our food took a long time, although they did have a large group of about 15 in the back and again, the restaurant was full. Ambiance also left much to be desired. We asked to sit at the bar but that was not an option. So it was either sit on the hot Inclosed patio or inside where we sat in a corner staring at the bathroom doors. Will most definitely not be returning."

"Hit the restaurant on a Saturday at 6ish. I didn't make a reservation, but they sat me right when I got what was great. It took about 10 minutes, but for a menu and a glass of water. Then another 10 for the waiter to take my order. I ordered the fillet mignon, garlic potatoes and salad. The steak was well boiled. I ordered medium, but it was almost rare. Potatoes were also sadly undercooked. I had some crispy pieces in it. I caught things with the cream broth, and that was very good. In the end, I was disappointed with a $50 dinner. Quality and service lacked something. Maybe it was a night. I would try again if I were in the area."
