"Been here about 30 times used to be really good but ever since the OG chef left Its gone downhill. They hire bad chefs that don 't use common sense. Found pieces of a broken ceramic dish in our food because the chef picked out the pieces instead of THROWING AWAY THE FOOD THAT IT BROKE OVER LIKE ANYONE ELSE WOULD. Also found plastic netting from the kale racks in my food. Manager apologized but if someone swallows pieces of glass/ceramic that is a MAJOR health hazard. Love the food but the new chefs are unsafe!!!"

"Ended up here by default ... only sushi joint open ... and very happy we did. Had some nigiri and a spicy tuna roll and the dragon roll, plus edamame and the seaweed salad and everything was fresh and tasty. The one, very busy server was friendly and efficient. Next time we're in Ashland, this will be our first choice for sushi!"

"We dined here for lunch today and it was meh to say the least. Service staff was distant and very obviously rolled eyes at each other, and our food was just okay. By far the most challenging and unexpected thing was that we ordered a side salad for our daughter on the kids menu. Waitress said we could select a house salad, or Caesar, or anything on the main menu. We ordered a Caesar salad and were served something with onions, olives, peppers, chicken, lemon vinaigrette basically the works for a kid salad and definitely not a Caesar. When I went to tell the waitress, a different waiter came by who very dismissively told me that they don 't do small Caesar salads and I needed to keep it. When I pressed that no, that 's not what we ordered, he demanded to know who told us that because there 's absolutely no substitutions and he took the salad away because we didn 't appreciate it. Then a completely different woman came over and asked again how we ordered a small Caesar salad and confirmed that no, it 's absolutely impossible to order that, but she could take it off the bill for us (shockingly low bar considering it wasn 't even at the table anymore)."

"My friend and I passed by this place during the First Friday Art Walk and decided that we were going to go in and eat there at some point in the near future because it looked so inviting inside. We decided to go in yesterday for an early lunch, and it is every bit as relaxing and homey as it looks. And it smells absolutely amazing. There was only one person working when we got there and several people ordering before us, so we did have to wait a bit on our food, but honestly, it was worth it. I ordered the Pesto Scramble: homemade pesto scrambled with organic eggs, garlic, potato, parmesan and mozzarella cheese, served with 2 slices of sprouted wheat toast and rosemary-garlic olive oil. I ordered the French Press coffee with almond milk as well, and I got that long before my food. They also had this citrus and mint infused water at the counter that was so delicious I went back to fill my glass several times. I will definitely go back and try other items on their menu, but I do hope the wait is a little less next time."
