"In fact there have been two lunch time visits inside a month a whole family one (sitting outside with family pooch) and just a twosome today (both taking advantage of the Lunchtime menu). First visit involved Chicken Caesar, Tuna Melt, Katsu Chicken Curry with Jacket Potato and Club Sandwich. The last one came with the wrong bread but all were enjoyable plus the staff were helpful and friendly. Today's lunch should have been Fish Finger Sandwich and Hot Beef Sandwich but alas the latter had sold out so it became two Fish Finger Sandwiches (in ciabatta) washed down with Chardonnay. Very pleasant!. My other half would have liked more tartare sauce on the fish goujons but mine was fine and the skin on fries must have been good because some of mine were pinched."

"Great service busy restaurant booked as always busy and know on Sundays a booking is needed . Door staff welcoming waited a couple more minutes than the booking but expected as it was heaving . Well done you all work really hard. ."

"Ordered a Prawn Cocktail starter, and found a caterpillar, or other such grub, crawling around on it. It was replaced by another which was ice cold, and barely defrosted. the main course calzone, was raw in the middle. Had to eat the edges and topping, but the rest was inedible. My other half had pasta in a so called sauce, but it was very watery. Won't be going back!"

"Delicious tasty food! Every dish was hot and yummy! We were a group of 4 and ordered different dishes between us so we had lots to compare. Not one complaint about the food, each dish consistently good and good portions too. The pate and coffee cheesecake are a must! Service at the start was slow and we waited quite a while for our drinks order to be taken and then only because we called over a waiter, then they never arrived and we had to ask again! Initially this was a little off putting as it was our first visit however it was busy and the food arrived in good time so this was soon forgotten. We all said we would go again without a doubt!"
