"Recommended by a female (French) friend of mine, I highly recommend this restaurant ! The location is great, an open terrace by the Garonne river. On booking the restaurant (we were running a bit late due to holiday traffic jams) they said we could arrive...by or even and not have to leave until or later ! We arrived at and were very warmly welcomed. They even asked immediately if I would like some water for my (small) dog. All the tables on the terrace closest to the water were occupied, so we sat elsewhere. But, on their own kind initiative, ten minutes later they said a table close to the water had become free and cleaned it for us. We chose the set menu at which, bearing in mind the quality, we found to be very good value. Four courses : A dozen oysters between the two of us. Not the largest oysters I've had, but tasty and fresh. Second course was a help yourself seafood buffet (cold), assiette de fruits de mer. Very good selection and quality. Fresh (unlike some buffets I've seen) and you could go back several times. Third course was a selection of fish. I had dorade. My friend had sole. Very good but not exceptional. Dessert was home made profiteroles, which completed the meal well. So, in summary, great location, excellent service and very good quality food. Highly recommended !"
