"Visited on Friday night for dinner. It was relatively crowded, but we were quickly ushered to an empty table. Temperature inside the place was maintained on colder side. We changed our table after some time due to cold air, and observed another group also changing their tables due to cold air blowing overhead. First service was quick and food (chicken wings, chips, bean cutlet) was piping hot awesome. Second service of chicken wings took a bit longer time to arrive, and it was not as piping hot as first service, possibly due to the dish being ready, but not served sooner. Staff is very friendly and responsive."

"The service was efficient but unobtrusive and friendly. We had poppadoms and pickles, then I had the battered mushroom starter, my husband had the saag paneer, both of which were delicious, I had the chicken tikka for my main course, it came sizzling as it should, with onions and peppers, there was lots of tender, tasty chicken, my husband had the chicken Calicut, we shared a mushroom rice and bread and there was more than enough. I can’t wait yo go back to Cambridge just so that I can eat there again!"

"Tried the pasta. It was very good. Would definitely go back for another round. Atmosphere is quiet nice and and it's on the first floor, it a bit more quiet. Went on a weekday, so it's generally more calm. Not yet sure about visiting on a weekend as most people are out then and it can get quite busy. Staff is quite friendly as well. Also had a dessert to finish up the meal. It was quite enjoyable. Looking forward to going there another time."

"Spectacular eating with a warm welcome. alex, our waiter, was excited to find the dishes that we 'd most happy work with a no gay group diet that cut away a good piece of the menu. Finally, he decided to create a few tailor-made plates that he hoped to wake us and they woke us! we first enjoyed a red pizza with parmesan, rocket and fresh tomatoes. the tomatoes were perfectly ripe, high quality, provide an intense burst of taste, accompanies the nutty rocket to cut through a generous part of the creamy, salty cheese. the cheese overwhelmed but not or weighed off the dish, perfectly matched the acidic, slightly peppery tomato sauce. gattusos cruste is one of the best I have experienced 'through crispy and thin on the bottom without trembling or sagging, and a delicious salty outer rim that was ultra light and crisp. our second court was an aubergine and tomaten penne. I have to confess that I usually don't go for red sose pastas, as I find the sour tomato a bit too a note. however, this pasta changed my mind; delicate aubergine paired perfectly with al dente penne, and both were made in a tasteful, earthy tomato sauce creamy by exactly the right spray of oil and milk. it was simple, bright and full of this house handmade love they feel rare when they eat. we only paid 24 pounds for a lunch with two people, concerning me. it is the type of place where they only know they are remembered and welcomed back as family. I would come back every day to contemplate, lovingly made Italian meals."

"Great little restaurant, very accommodating for my son who is a wheelchair user. Staff friendly and knew the menu inside out. Food was lovely, we had the 3 course set menu which was great value. Highly recommend it."

"Although we booked using Open Table, the restaurant did not have a record of the booking so we had the embarrassment of waiting while a table was allocated. The restaurant greeter informed us that this happens all the time with Open Table bookings. There were four diners in our party. Three of the starters arrived promptly but one didn’t. We asked twice for it to be chased but it didn’t arrive until after the other three had finished theirs. We also had a long wait for the main course which resulted in insufficient time to have a desert or coffee as we had theatre tickets."

"Fun brewpub to hang out in and go for an English that's what you do, innit, you get tanked and go for an English? well, after a day of hiking around Cambridge, the time was right to go for an English, and I ended up at the Brew House after meandering down the various side streets. a hefty meat pie a flaky dough filled with tender chicken, roasted carrots, a side of chips, a hearty helping of gravy and a few cold brews. great service and hearty portions for the price. extra kudos for having a platter named after Douglas Adams."
