"The food at this restaurant was the best I had during my stay in Canico. The self serve salad is a nice touch and unique amongst the restaurants in the area. The grilled Tuna was very impressive."

"Très accueillant, la proximité avec notre hôtel nous a permis de nous y rendre plusieurs fois et nous n'avons jamais été déçues des plats qui furent tous très bon copieux et très peu cher. De plus les serveurs sont super sympa, je recommande fortement"

"This place is (as the name suggests) very VERY German. It is frequented by Germans who speak German, want German food, expect the service staff to speak German. One wonders why they leave Germany at all. The Food is hearty and plentiful. Decor is a...bit tired. Service very friendly and they actually speak English and Portuguese! Prices OK but it really is aimed at German tourists. So ... make your mind up on that before going"

"What a great place for dinner and some of the best sangria I have tasted. The serving sizes was generous and service was great. I can recommend the grilled squid and the picanha. Overall, great in all aspects."

"Très bon restaurant. Produits de qualité. La viande sur pierre est succulente. Nous avons aussi aimé les champignons accompagnés de mangue rôtie et les patelles (fruits de mer). Les desserts sont faits maison. La serveuse était très sympathique et réactive."

"We got quick friendly service although the restaurant was quite full. We had the chicken espetada, which was nicely seasoned but not crisp - grilled without the skin. The mixed fish platter had three different fish on it: a sardine, a kind of sea bass (previously frozen, the fat under the skin had an aftertaste), and merluza. It was our fault, though: We should have asked, which fish is in season and fresh in winter."
