"It's my preliminary last night in Sprendlingen. The locals of the last two evenings do not attract me to a repetition. Therefore, I decide today for the STG club restaurant, which is only a few minutes away from my hotel and has already received a very good criticism here at GG. From the outside, the place is rather inconspicuous, although with the club logo on the house wall and a brewery lighting complaint, otherwise hardly to distinguish from the other houses of the street. There are a few steps up to the guest room (is the club house of a gym! and past the toilets. Inside, a rather large room awaits me, which reminds more of pub than restaurant. Although the tables are partly covered with cutlery us napkins, the entire atmosphere acts more after evening beer than go to dinner. On the ceiling, plastic eeu winds around artificial branches and also the other plants just have to be dusted off and not poured. I suppose that's the light conditions. Even though there is still bright day outside, artificial light is indicated inside due to the dark butt glass panes. The abundantly represented audience is mixed colourfully. There are a few smaller groups that first eat and then pass into cozy beer rounds, sitting at another table card player and the counter is occupied by obvious regular customers. It is not really uncomfortable here, but the plastic flowers and the Efeubehangen branches leave me a little grazing. The ambience is therefore worth 3 stars. Service: After entering the guest room, I'll be nicely greeted by the host who lets me choose two tables, but first stubbornly, when I thought I was alone. Alone travellers obviously don't get lost quite often in this place. The entire service runs, locally typical quite flotted, but always nice and friendly. The card will be taken quickly and after the order my drink will be right at my place. Even the food comes to me very quickly. Demands are happy (but unfortunately not as detailed as I would like to have answered. After eating there is a slibovitz on the house and there is a correct proof when paying without having to ask. Although the place is really well filled, there is no hectic. In the meantime, a lady jumps in the service, everything runs like smashed and always exemplary friendly. The service is therefore happy to receive 4 stars. As with many restaurants of this type, the map is almost as thick as a phone book. I count 20 appetizers, 70 main dish (balan specialities, carving variations, fish, steaks, noodles, vegetarians as well as many salads, additional supplements, children's dishes, small things etc. I then decide after a long time superior for Pola Pola (Cevapcici, Raznjici, Djuvecreis, Pommes Frites and Salad for 9,50 €. I drink a non-alcoholic wheat (Schöfferhofer 0.5l 3.20 € The food: With the beer comes a basket with a cut baguette and a small bowl with a kind of dark paste/ sauce at the table. Because of the color, I thought of something with eggplants, which, however, did not fit so tastefully and was also negated by the host on demand. What was exactly included besides onions, he didn't want to tell me that he grinning meant is nicely sharp, did he? . I suspect, besides a not to neglected amount of chilis, other paprika varieties as well as onions, lots of garlic and maybe some tomato paste. In any case, the paste was delicious. Sharp, yes, very sharp, but also very aromatic. The bread was not baked, but only day fish, but still OK. The salad was, in turn, standard, various leaf salads, unchambered cucumber slices, tomato vats some herb salad and sprinkled carrots. A white salad sauce in the middle class. Unfortunately, there was still a nest of corn grains among the leaf salads, and it is possible to sort them aside better than if they are scattered on top. The Pola Pola came quite fast after salad at the table and was purely visually very appealing. 3 Cevapcici and a meat skewer lay beside a nice mountain Pommes and a neat ball Djuvecreis. Aivar (satisfied and a few onions (under the Aivar . The, I assume self-shaped, Cevapcici were extraordinarily good for my taste, beautiful spicy with neat garlic. The meat skewer was also well seasoned, but with some fat nesters, which should have been brazed a little better (is grammatically correct so? . The pommes were well made, and also the Djuvecreis could convince me (yet slightly bite-resistant, well spiced and not too deadly. The aivar would have liked to have been a little sharper, but I had the peel with the paprika paste. All in all, I was very happy. No gourmet food, but this is not promised here, nor did I expect it. So I give 4 stars for food. Cleanliness: Actually, everything was fine as I saw. Also the toilets were good in shot. What disturbed me, however, was that there were always flocks over the table, and then they also settled on the plates. In the summer or in the agricultural environment, this may be unavoidable, here I would not have expected it. Therefore some deduction and 3.5 star price-performance ratio: I have eaten and drunk for €12.70. I am very happy for 5 stars conclusion: The food was also better here on an absolute scale than I had yesterday, in relation to the expectations that were awakened here or there, the STG secret, however, cuts off better around worlds. You have to like the ambience, but somewhere you might have to take a break, and then rather at the ambience than at food. If I'm in the area again, I'll be happy to return here."
