"Local cafe connected to a food truck with breakfast, coffee, juice and the like. friendly staff, chill vibes and beautiful view. this small Hanalei stop brings the job. not too cheap to mainland standards, but cheaper than many other nearby options."

"Really good food. Tasty. We had red curry and yellow curry; you get more for your money on curry if you order “to go.” But they nickel and dime you on everything else. $0.50 for plates. $1 for a cup of ice. I spent $65 on 4 entrees and asked for four plates and the lady looked at me like I had asked for her kidney! But the food tastes really good. Service: Dine in"

"Oh wow this place is delicious! I came for lunch after a marathon surf session and the combo plate hit the spot. Great value too, $16 for the plate and I left very satisfied. My girl was able to save half of hers for leftovers but I was so hungry I ate it all. Classic Brazilian bbq done right by amazing people. They also have a killer hot sauce you can buy by the bottle, I highly recommend it. As they say in Brazil, MUITO BOM!!"

"Recommended by my nephew, who is a local boy here. we came after the closing time so we were sure to stop the morning. beautiful business on the corner, go the stairs after parking via the road on the hanalei center parking. he was here at 9 o'clock and it was perfect not to overfill or busy. grund b reis with a small sprinkle of furikake, 6 Portuguese sausage slices with over simple irons. perfectly boiled? chicken catsu teller lunchtime huhn katsu in sweet shoyu sauce, rice and mac salat nourished. differing from the local style with Katsu sauce but still kept it yourself and delicious? small business had many funny stickers with different sprinkled uterus factic. and curse words don't bring littles that can read unless it doesn't matter to you. but it was funny to look through their selection of stickers to magnets to even water filtration articles. reminded me of this section in the bookstore with various types of eccentricities. highly recommended? as a native I loved it and so many tourists that were visited."

"The employees were friendly and patient with us when we met our selection. pizza was quite solid, both my wife and I enjoyed a big together. only complaining was the price- $30 for a big one was a bit about what I expected to pay - also for a tourist. but they seem to have a monopole on the north side, which is the only pizza place we have seen, so you just have to bite the ball."

"So so so fresh and DELICIOUS. I had one sip of the cucumber mint juice and it may have been one of the most delectable flavors to cross my lips. You can tell the ingredients are fresh and vibrant. We came close to closing and they were out of a lot of juices but the staff was overly accommodating and sweet. Great customer service, do not miss out on this refreshing stop!"

"Unfortunately, eating was super incompatible when I ordered the next food from lotus. I ordered the same dishes as my last visit and both tasted completely different - and had different sauces. two different employees worked during my second visit, so it may be different. I would recommend that they have consistent recipes for their dishes. I would have returned if I had not deferred from the significant inconvenience. 4.0 star rating2/10/2018 previous review I had unexpectedly had a great experience here. we ordered the departure in our nearby hotel. the man who took our order was so friendly and funny, he made it a great experience overall. for this type of restaurant I did not expect high quality/taste; but lotus really surpassed my expectations. we ordered the tofu veggie garlic dish, a pan fried noodle dish and red curry. everything was better than I expected. the portion sizes were perfect and not too large. the sweet and tofu were perfectly cooked, all tasted fresh and delicious, and the prices were cheap. we'll eat here before we leave the island. updated by previous review on 2021-05-11"
