"Renovation work started when we went there so that you don't see immediately from the street where the restaurant is, but once you find yourself in a colonial ballroom with gilded stucco and paintings by Lord Krishna Pastimes. Ac is quite cold, so come prepared with a scarf or sweater. We ordered the simple Thiali on Rs 140 and were not disappointed, the food was very fresh and tasty. We enjoyed especially the bhindi subji (ladyfingers), the food was not oily or heavy and you get a refill of most subjis and dal as well as rotis. There is a candy counter with a few snacks and many sweets and some iceless cakes. They looked delicious, but we were too full to try. Very recommended"
